Today I have been on HRT for two years. While the first year was just about orienting myself in a new reality, this year felt much more about realizing who I am now and what i value. I've met so many people I admire, fallen in love, gotten heartbroken, cried my eyes out, spent too much money on tattoos, made more music than I ever have in my life, and felt truly like I am the person I'm supposed to be for the first time in my life. I don't know if hitting year three will feel as significant, maybe by then it'll be blasé, but today I feel a deep appreciation for everything around me.

Above all, i just want to say thank you and I love you to a few people. To @dependableson Cleo, who is my best friend and who has given me more than i can ever verbalize, and who I miss everyday until the next time I'm in LA. To @jodimatrix @ethical_chaser and @_nina_nina_nina_nina_ who have been friends I can truly rely on and have helped me the whole way as I've grown into being who I am now. To all my band mates, @calleynelson_ @wtfacch @grettamindy in @childlessnyc ; @oldtablemusic @argylezandolis and my bitch wife @crystal_lies8 in @castratedcaligula ; and to @henryrozich and @churchjeans1 in whatever the fuck we end up calling our band. They have all given me endless joy in being able to do what i love more than anything, making music with my friends, and have all been such wonderful and caring presences in my life. To @fiend.ish and @jonathanmarty_ who are friends I'm still so happy to have in my life after all these years. There are so many others and lord knows I'd love to thank everyone individually, but then I'd be tapping at my phone all day and I need to go celebrate.

Thank you also to the inimitable @nervousrack for the beautiful birthday photos on the unicorn camera and also being an amazing friend. Thank you to @earnest_dog for the drawing of me which still melts my heart. If I missed any photo credits, endless apologies! Talk to you all next time i have something to shill. by @lynnperry_normalgirl

Hey! We have a Bandcamp now! One song is up! More to come! Writing new songs! Playing cool shows! The future is bright despite everything to the contrary! Keep making art! by @lynnperry_normalgirl

Hello people on my phone! I have shows coming up in the near future, please come hang out at them!

I am playing my first solo show in like 6 years (!!) at Bridge and Tunnel Brewery October 1st with @zacksmusicbox , @elliemacphee and @raven.tao ! Come hear my lil songs, most of them haven't been played live or only have once!

I am also playing my first show with @childlessnyc on October 3rd at Hart Bar! Very excited to be a part of that band alongside some dear friends, I am now a bass guitar girl :)

Other shows with other bands to happen soon, there's so much to share! Sometimes decades happen in weeks in Lynnland truly. by @lynnperry_normalgirl
