We were never missing from the screen.
We were just never given the story.

Hollywood didn’t exclude Black characters.
It contained them.

The healer.
The guide.
The sacrifice.

Essential to the plot.

Just a little something I told myself I would post on another page... at the right time ...when it's ready... at a later date...or another purpose. But if I keep waiting, the day will never come.

So, I'm making a decision to walk in obedience, one step at a time.

I realize my relationship with procrastination has made me comfortable in fear.

It has paralyzed me in various ways. I am gently walking out of it.

I have had an eventful summer thus far, and I have plenty more to post. But these are just a few memories from King All Class Reunion this year.

Baby, when I say a time was had, a time was had! I didn't take nearly enough pictures, but the laughs and fun live rent-free in my head!

I love my KCP family, and I wouldn't want to represent any thing else!

Welcome to Pleasant Point — where everything looks perfect… but something’s very off. 👀

We’re Cottage Grove Productions, and our next experimental short ACCESSORIES is underway — a surreal satire about race, control, and Black representation through the eyes of a doll in crisis.

🎨 We’re currently seeking:
➊ A model artist to build a rotating, pastel dollhouse-style set (Midwest meets Barbiecore 🏠)
➋ A colorist who paints with emotion — bold, eerie, nostalgic. (Life-Size, But I’m a Cheerleader, Poor Things vibes)

📽️ The dollhouse is the heartbeat of the film — it opens and closes the story. It’s the mask. And the mirror.
