On paper Fiat Pininfarina Cabriolet is a full opposite of the Citroen from the previous post. It's a cabriolet, it's simple, it has a classic design and it's small, unlike the French. And yet still, the car looks as magnificent as the DS. Hard to imagine that 60 years later, Fiat and Citroen will produce the same cars under different names. by @m1stycat

For me, the Citroen DS was a car that could strike any kind of imagination possible, starting with its body, and ending with... anything, honestly. The whole car is a kaleidoscope of weird quirks and engineering decisions even for the present times, let alone the 60s. And also, a Citroen DS Estate here, also quite a gem by @m1stycat

Bianco S.

Here we have an absolute unicorn of a car, this time from Brazil. Rear-engined, powered by a 1600 Beetle engine, this is basically a Brazilian Porsche 911, with a bit of Italian fleur to it. And it comes to no surprise, as its creator Ottorino 'Toni' Bianco was a descendant of Venice. Like the Soviet Union, Brazil was really strict about importing cars, which led to the rise of a whole culture of small manufacturers with their ideas for a sport car. And Bianco is the most well-known one (at least I found several articles about it while typing this post). In total, 3 models were released where S was the most 'mass-produced' one with a total of 320 cars built. So basically this is rarer than Ferrari Enzo and even the McLaren P1 by @m1stycat

Ferrari 348 was basically a shift of eras. The last V8 Ferrari designed under the direction of the Il Commendatore, and also the first production Ferrari to use a pressed steel chassis instead of a tubular frame. Also it's the first Ferrari to use the robot-welded body panels. by @m1stycat

SSC Tuatara? BYD U9 Extreme Super Sport Racing AMG RS Pro Max LTE AliExpress Edition Buy One Get 30 silver coins free?

Name me the current fastest production car. SSC Tuatara? BYD U9 Extreme Super Sport Racing AMG RS Pro Max LTE AliExpress Edition Buy One Get 30 silver coins free? 15 years ago you could surely answer that it was Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, and even back then there were some nuances like Koenigsegg Agera RS and Hennessey Venom GT. However about 80 years ago the answer was pretty straightforward: Jaguar XK120, where 120 is miles per hour, available for the driver (if he's daredevil enough). And even right now, 193 km/h is quite significant speed for the public roads for the modern cars. by @m1stycat

Autocars Sabra Sport.
Sabra Sport.

6 years ago I was heading home from my Hebrew studies, when I saw a strange car, looking like a van made from plastic. I took a picture, googled it, and then I dived into an iceberg of Israeli cars. And on the very bottom of the iceberg there was this car. Sabra Sport. An Israeli dream about the sports car, produced with Reliant, and named after the Opuntia cactus, which is also the way people born here call themselves. I really wanted to see this car, but the only automotive museum was closed due to covid. A year later, the museum didn't open back, so I've lost any hope to ever see this car. And then I saw it here. Not one, but 2 cars! That day, I saw the legend. Not the legend like the M5 E39 or the E500 W124 (technically the car is kinda crap), but a real mythical automobile. And even now, in big 26 I'm writing all of this and I still can't believe I saw it. by @m1stycat

And here's the original Sussita. From this angle it looks like it put on a body with a size 2 times bigger by @m1stycat

Rom Carmel 1301 was the last chapter of the Israeli automobile production. Since Autocars went bankrupt, the factory changed their owners and carried on with the production. The recipe was simple: take the existing product and adapt it for the new engines. And the fiberglass body allowed it to make it without extra spending. However it didn't help much. In 1981 the last car left the factory near the Haifa. by @m1stycat

The best C-Class? Of course the C63 AMG W204. To be honest, I like the pre-facelift version, but it's a matter of taste. And despite its rivals, Mercedes went completely nuts with this car, starting with its quite squarish design, and ending with, of course, the 6.2 liter M156 engine, which was used pretty much in every AMG of that time. Quite sad, the W205 kind of lost its charm, and the W206 lost its V8. Some say though, not for long... by @m1stycat

GMC 100 New Design.

I've never been a fan of pickup trucks, but trucks from the 50s definitely have some style. by @m1stycat
