POSTS STORIES REELS

What if cracks and marks aren’t signs of weakness, but proof of everything you’ve overcome🤍

The broken column became my starting point when designing this piece. Which later got softly draped and dressed in petals made of sugar.

While time leaves its marks. Life shapes us. Stories becomes visible.

-Yet the foundation remains.

I’ve always been drawn to creating pieces that tell a story - to give my cakes a voice.. And this one became a reflection of that.
The cracks, the weathered stone and the moss reclaiming its surface doesn’t weaken its strength. They become part of its history.

The column stands beautifully. Not despite its story, but because of it🤍

Rising star of the year 2025🏆!!!

@chloemaguirescakes @numberninecakedesign @thefloweringbaker

Kram!!!! by @m_h_cakes

TACK♥️

A day that’s about so much more than Halloween🖤

A day where each of us bring our own vision to the table.

Without a handbrake.
Without a box to fit into.

A day that just happens to fall a couple of weeks before Halloween.

This year. Once again.

One day.
Entirely for us🖤

Not everything has to be ivory and dandelions.

Sometimes it can be darker🖤

Black on black lace.
Worn stone textures.
Deep burgundy sugar roses.

But there is romance in it.
Just not the perfect kind.

The kind where two people can feel impossibly close, while being just out of reach.

And maybe, that’s why the roses still bloom.

Dark.
Romantic.
The kind that makes you feel🥀

And then she breathes.

Not the kind of breath that comes with the weight of the world pressed against your chest.

But a quiet breath.

One where nothing exists except time.

When we imagine the future, we often look towards the stars. Searching for somewhere new to go, without stopping to think about the world we call home.

But what if tomorrow was never promised to us?

What if the world we leave behind becomes more beautiful in our absence, despite the scars we gave her?

My interpretation of Beyond Tomorrow imagines a world where humanity is no longer the main character.

Where nature is finally given something we so carelessly took from her.

Time.

Time to recover. Time to reclaim. Time to be.

What we once called the beauty bone rests upon a bed of moss, just as it did the day before.

In its palm, new life begins.

Each at a different stage of life. Each one day older than yesterday.

An oyster rests within its curve, holding a pearl.

Something we once harvested, possessed and put a price tag on.

Now it holds no value beyond its own existence.

There is no one left to claim it.

Above, roses have evolved without humanity’s permission.
No longer shaped to satisfy our idea of perfection.
They are free to become something entirely their own.

Chlorophyll has found its way into their petals.
Darkened leaves carry the marks of time, while droplets of morning dew settle quietly upon them.

This morning, yet again.

Untouched.

For the first time, their beauty lies in their existence.

And perhaps that is the most unsettling thought of all.

That the world might not need us to be beautiful.

I created this piece knowing I am not separate from the problem it speaks of.
Even as we try to make better choices, we leave our own marks behind.

Because I do not wish for a world without us.

I wish we could learn to coexist with nature, not as something above it, but as part of it.

Perhaps she was never ours to begin with🤍

A little something to brighten your Tuesday💛

Yellow roses are said to symbolise joy and warmth. And that’s exactly how I felt every second creating this cake for L & J.

While the roses were bright in colour, with the sunlight coming through their petals, the cake was draped in buttery yellow and lavender. Not as bright. Not in competition.

From the roses to the acrylic discs, the afternoon sun found its way through the whole design and brought it to life in the most beautiful way💛

2027 couples🤍

A wedding cake created from all the little details gathered along the way🤍

A total of eight hours on the road to bring this cake to life, with a beautiful couple waiting at the other end.

Some details inspired by the venue, some by her gown, and some by the two people I’ve gotten to know during our time working together.

Every detail made just for M & M.

There’s a lot I could say about this one.
But somehow, I don’t think I need to🤍

It all boils down to these few minutes🤍

Unlike a painting, this is art made for one single moment.

Only to live on as a memory filled with laughter, photographs and stories told afterwards.

And I think that’s part of why I love it so much.

The cutting, the laughing, the interaction with the cake, the people gathering around.

For a few minutes, something that has taken months of work becomes part of something as big as your wedding day.

Then it’s gone.

And that’s what makes those few minutes so special🤍
