SPOTLIGHT VOL. 11 — THE WOMAN SHE BUILT

Maayan Goldstein ( @maayan.goldstein ) knows how to make an impression.

The heels.
The jewelled bikini.
The sculpted physique beneath the lights.
The crown.

But the night before she earned her professional title in Las Vegas, she almost didn't compete.

“I don't think I'm going to step on stage tomorrow.”
— Maayan Goldstein

Not because she'd given up.

Because she'd already achieved what she'd set out to do. Her physique had changed. The work was done. Her coach told her to go out, relax and enjoy herself.

So she did.

And she walked away an FMG Bikini Pro.

Long before the stage, there were eleven years in the swimming pool. Mornings beginning at 3:30 a.m. A young woman learning to love the repetition before there was any glamour attached to it.

And when we sat down together, something else became clear.

Maayan genuinely enjoys the life she's building.

The training.
The coaching.
The business.
Even the ordinary pleasure of waking up to emails and problems waiting to be solved.

We talked about beauty, the female gaze, women admiring women, and the moments of pride and vulnerability that rarely make it into a competition photograph.

In Miami, she found herself looking at the physique she'd created with genuine amazement.

“I was actually just in awe of what I had achieved.”
— Maayan Goldstein

There's something wonderfully refreshing about that.

A woman with extraordinary standards who hasn't forgotten how to enjoy what she's already accomplished.

The kind of messages that make me stop and smile at my phone 🥹🤍

Sometimes I wish I could show you girls just how much these little messages mean to me.

The progress updates, the personal wins, the moments when something finally clicks, and the girls starting to see what they’re capable of.

Because coaching has always been about SO much more to me than just changing someone’s physique.

It’s about helping women feel stronger, more confident and genuinely proud of themselves.

Getting to be a little part of that journey will never get old.

Forever proud of my MGF girls. 🫶🏼 by @maayan.goldstein

There’s no such thing as “luck” when it comes to seeing results. You either work for it or you don’t

Message me DREAMBODY by @maayan.goldstein

The night before earning her pro card in Las Vegas, Maayan almost didn’t step onstage.

She’d already achieved what she set out to do and that changed how she saw the competition.

We talk about this moment, confidence, ambition and the life behind the bikini stage.

Ep. 24 of The Glow Up Economy goes live tonight at 6pm ACDT (Adelaide Time)🎙️✨ by @maayan.goldstein

I used to think confidence came after you finally looked the way you wanted to.

And I’ll never be the person who tells women that how you look has nothing to do with how you feel.

Because for me, it did.

Building a body I’m proud of changed the way I dress, the way I carry myself and the way I show up.

But the biggest change wasn’t actually my body.

It was becoming a woman who trusted herself.

I learnt how to keep promises to myself.
How to do things even when I didn’t feel motivated.
How to stop starting over every time life wasn’t perfect.
How to work towards something long enough to actually become proud of myself.

The body gave me confidence in how I looked.
The process gave me confidence in who I am.

And THAT is the part of a fitness journey I wish more women talked about. 🤍 by @maayan.goldstein

A little look at two of my current training staples 🤎

You girls know OxyShred has been part of my routine for YEARS, and lately I’ve been pairing it with creatine gummies to support my training and performance.

Because while supplements aren’t a shortcut, I love having a routine that supports the work I’m putting in, both inside and outside the gym.

My October pick: the OxyShred + Creatine Stack 🫡
