22 looks good on you!! Happy birthday @brycenmacbeth_ !! Proud to call you my son! Keep charging!! by @macbethco

Yesterday was an incredible day to say the least!! It’s hard to put words to what I witnessed! I’m a beyond proud of @brycenmacbeth_ for making his first ever, grueling 30 mile paddle from Avalon to Newport. He had pneumonia for the last 2 weeks, but was 100% committed to making it across the channel. Conditions started out with a steady strong west wind. Not ideal! Midway the conditions turned flat calm for all the paddlers, but at the point there were not many smiles until their feet touched the sand at the pier.

I was lucky enough to be a support boat for these amazing men and women. There were definitely tears of joy, but the one that I will never forget, was @finleymacbeth jumping in the water at 15 miles in, to give her brother a hug and words of encouragement!!! ❤️

The days event was full of comradery, new friends, tears, smiles and great memories!

A special thank you to my friends @spencestagramin and @schulein for keeping a close eye and providing encouraging words to Brycen long the way!! 🙏 The MacBeth family is forever grateful for you two!! You guys are class act and doing amazing things for the community!! 👊

Thank you @newportbeachlifeguards and @bencarlson_foundation for keeping a well organized event and safe crossing for all the paddlers!!

@brycenmacbeth_ you are a legend!!
PS…. @mason.graf you are a beast, well done!! 👊👊 by @macbethco

Always a great time in Mex with your best friend!! @californiacasa by @macbethco

With a mindset of “ I BELIEVE I WILL & I BELIEVE I CAN” a child hood friend has just beat a 5 year battle with Lymphoma. I am lucky enough to have made so many great memories since kindergarten with this kid. He always has a smile, always has a positive outlook, an amazing father to 5 amazing kids and is one hell of an athlete. He is the true definition of what we should be like (integrity, selfless, honesty). In this day and age, it’s few and far between that we see these traits. I hope this post inspires at least one of you to be the best you can and to realize how lucky we really are. Imagine sitting in a hospital for 5 years experimenting with almost every possible cancer treat available to mankind?
@arounaghi thanks for the inspiration and being a true friend for all these years. Now let’s go build some jumps in the orange grooves and be kids again!! by @macbethco
