HIP AIRPLANES ✈️

I’ve been seeing this one for a while and finally decided to try it out and you guys….🥵 had me literally shaking by my last set.

I must be getting older because my entire feed is hip mobility and hip strengthening exercises 😅 so I’m taking that as a sign to start incorporating it.

-3 sets: 10 reps each leg -

Tips: I cued myself to grip the ground with my toes to keep my planted foot stable. I also made sure that to keep a soft neutral knee throughout to avoid straining. I started with lighter weight (10lbs) to work through the movement before upping to a 30 lb dumbbell. I played around with how deep I sank into the movement and liked the bigger range of motion personally.

Have you done this one yet? What are your thoughts?
