Getting the opportunity to go on this mission trip to Cibecue, Arizona truly helped me and showed me what it’s like to be the hands and feet of Jesus. This place showed me how much I truly take for granted, how sad and broken this world can be, how even the little things like having a simple interaction or conversation with someone can make a big impact, and most importantly that as Christians we HAVE to get out of our comfort zones. I truly love my youth group and how hardworking, loving, and hilarious they are…they are such a good community to have and to be able to work and see all of us impact and love on these wonderful kids is something I’ll never forget. Getting to teach 5th grade and up was so so special to me, I love these kids and they truly touched my heart and listened to me so attentively. Please pray for Cibecue they truly need your prayers! “And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Can’t have summer without ELLA 🩷☀️🌷 by @maddiegrace_smith

FUGE 2026 🤍 This being my last year as a FUGE camper is so so bittersweet. FUGE has held such a special place in my heart for 6 years and I know that it always will. It’s something so physically exhausting but so so so spiritually fulfilling. This year the theme of “The Good Shepherd” hit hard, I love being reminded how amazing and great the peace found in the lord is and how he is truly never going anywhere. “He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”- Psalm 23: 3-4 🐑 My youth group is such a blessing to me and I’m forever grateful for the love and encouragement they have always shown me! The Holy Spirit revealed to me this week that I was letting insecurities hold me down through a trust excercise with my bible study group. It was something difficult and overwhelming for me to deal with but I got through it and was able to see the true love and community that Christians can be for each other. I was able to share my testimony about that with my youth group and find even more comfort and community from them. Sin and struggles are all so hard to deal with but we need to learn to stop managing the pain and to deal with the real injury. Healing can’t happen until you reveal that situation to the lord and sometimes even to others! God definitely moved in me and my youth group and he truly showed how intentional he is from the worship songs played, the testimonies shared, and the people I met. I’m forever grateful for FUGE camps and I encourage you to attend or to send your kids to one! by @maddiegrace_smith
