Here’s why you need to wear toe socks when you hoop:

Your feet are literally the foundation for everything we do, but let’s be honest—they’re probably the most overlooked part of the body.

Every single step, jump, or squat starts right at the ground. When your feet and ankles are locked up or weak, that stress travels straight up to your knees, hips, and back.

Whether you’re an athlete trying to stay injury-free or just someone who wants to move without pain, keeping your feet mobile is a total game changer.

Hit save on this quick routine and try these out:
Stretches / Holds: ~30 sec
Dynamic Moves: 8–10 reps

Investing in our feet is essential for our health and that’s why we created @maddogbarefoot. Premium quality athletic toe socks that allow your toes to splay and your foot to work naturally, all while wicking moisture from in between your toes and keeping your feet dry.

The first toe sock on the market made by professional basketball players who know that your feet deserve better.

If you’re an athlete that is serious about gaining an edge on your peers, making the switch to toe socks makes sense. Here’s why:

1️⃣ HEALTHIER: Traditional socks crush your toes together, causing blisters, friction, and messed-up alignment. Toe socks let your digits splay naturally, keeping your feet sweat-free, blister-free, and healthy.

2️⃣ STRONGER: When your toes can spread out, your foot arch actually engages the way it was built to. Better foot structure = more ground force production = more strength behind every lift and stride.

3️⃣ BETTER MOVER: Your big toe is your body’s primary steering wheel for balance and agility. Giving each toe room to grip the ground gives you instant feedback, better spatial control, and cleaner cut-and-plant mechanics.
