POSTS STORIES REELS

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but my art account has more than doubled after one of my illustrations went viral - there are now more than 5,400 of you here ♥️

I’m so grateful to have so many new souls joining my little creative space, so I thought I’d properly introduce myself.

It’s funny because the posts I spend literal HOURS (a.k.a this one) on usually get almost no engagement… but maybe we can finally break that cycle with this one 🥹

So tell me - where are you from? And are you someone who’s been here since we were just 300 people, or did you just recently discover my little world? ♥️☺️

Which ever it is, I hope you stay and enjoy 🥰

I just closed my first solo exhibition @craft__studios so I thought that I’ll share here 10 things it taught me (that nobody really tells you).

It was an emotional ride from start to finish, but I could have not been more grateful for this being my experience and hopefully it will help any of you that are thinking about putting your self out there and for the rest of you, bring you a bit closer to my world 🥰

I had been taking my art seriously for just 5 months when my application was accepted. You never know what doors might open if you don't knock.

An opportunity won’t create its own success. You have to put in the effort, spread the word and believe in what you’re doing.

Weeks of invitations, follow-ups and reminders. And still, most of the people I invited didn’t show up. That's life, an excellent rejection therapy, but also an opportunity to have your first contact with shops, brands you would like to collaborate in the future

No further explanation needed. Just rememberto fix your makeup before people start arriving. 😂♥️

Watching people connect with something you created, and seeing your little ideas hanging on someone else's walls, is a feeling I can't quite describe.

Even when people come, you might struggle to believe they actually came to see YOUR work. Yes, they did. Let yourself enjoy it!

My partner spent the entire evening helping sell art, prepared snacks in the morning and helped carry everything. You might be the artist, but you don't have to do it all alone.

Not every conversation turns into a partnership, but the connections you make can open unexpected doors. I'm already preparing for my second exhibition, in a new venue, thanks to the outreach I did for the first one.

I created 8 out of 12 paintings in the month of the exhibition. Sometimes you just have to stop preparing and start doing.

You don't need to have it all figured out. Sometimes you just need to give yourself a chance.

If you wish to join me on my art journey I would love to have you 🥰 by @madebybaya

Reminder for some of those harder days ♥️

Little snippets from my mail club - Notes on Life

A monthly reflection on the many emotions and life changes I am going through but believe a lot of people can connect with as well. Last month was all about learning to trust in ourselves.

Reflecting on how often we are our own worst enemies and should listen to the positive voices in our heads way more often than the negative ones. So if you wish to receive something wonderful, handmade and thoughtful in your mailbox (instead of bills and invoices) this might have just found you at the right time! 🥰🥰

The sign ups for November are opened until the end of the month (31 October)- you can find the link in my bio 🥰

“Amongst giants” is an illustration that is inspired by my time in Chilean Patagonia this January.

A space that was challenging mentally, physically but rewarded me in views of the nature that are hard to describe with words. It is astonishing that once we spend time in the nature we will figure out so fast just how small we are.

This beautiful illustration is available on my Etsy (link in my bio) and is also part of my travel inspired calendar that will be coming out on the 31st of October ♥️

A little upgrade to my everyday creative routine 🤍

I’ve been trying out the Musso D7 Space Fold, and I love how easy it is to move around, adjust to my height, and switch between sitting and standing. It fits into different corners of my home, and when I’m done, I can simply fold it away under my couch. Perfect for keeping my space flexible without compromising on my practice. From now on, do not be surprised to see it in the backgrounds of my videos much more 😂

If you’ve been looking for a desk that adapts to your space, you can use my code MADEBYBAYA to get 25€ off - link also in my biooo✨

🌍 A little reminder of how beautiful this world is, and how much there is still to discover. ❤️

My 2027 travel calendar has been more than a year in the making, bringing together little moments and places from 17 countries across Central Asia, Southeast Asia and South America. 🥹

I wanted to create something that brings a little bit of wanderlust, calm and yet playful feeling into your everyday life. Something to look at on an ordinary morning and feel inspired to dream, explore, or simply appreciate the beauty of the world around us.

And now, I finally get to share the first look with you! 🥰

I hope it finds a little spot in your home for 2027, whether it inspires your next adventure or lets you travel a little from where you are. 🌎✨

My 2027 Travel Calendar is coming out on 31 October! Save the date ♥️
