I made something I wished existed.

Hi, I’m Caci — and Made by Magazines actually started long before I knew I was starting Made by Magazines.

For about a year, over on @theclassiccurl , I made a little digital magazine every month about my own life — what I was reading, eating, playing, obsessing over, recommending, doing. Nothing particularly monumental. Just my life, in an edition.

I’ve always loved the nostalgia of magazines — especially the bridal magazines. Before Pinterest, magazines were our vision boards.

So when my best friend got married, I made something I wished existed: part wedding album, part bridal magazine, entirely theirs.

Something that could hold the beautiful photographs and everything happening around them. The little details. The stories. The people. The things that would be so easy to forget.

And somewhere in making that first one, I realized I didn’t just want to make something beautiful.
I wanted to make something worth keeping.

So I kept making them.

And now I get to make them out of other people’s lives, too. 🤎

Because the stories are yours. I just get them on the page.

Made By you, for you. by @madebymagazines

A wedding album shows you what the day looked like.

An edition reminds you what it felt like.

The little stories behind the photos. The people who were there. The things you planned for months and the things you never could have planned. The quiet moments, the funny ones, the details you’d probably forget to explain years from now.

Made by Magazines isn’t a ceremony program, and it isn’t quite a traditional wedding album either.

It’s the story that lives somewhere in between — your photographs, given context, personality and a place in the bigger story of your day.

Because your wedding deserves more than beautiful photos sitting on a page.

It deserves to be read, remembered and picked up again.

Made by you, for you.

A matchbook from the restaurant where you had your first date. Sand from the beach you went to every summer. A piece of jewelry passed down from your grandmother. A scrapbook your mother made for you.

We collect little evidence of the lives we’ve lived.

Things that remind us where we’ve been, who we’ve loved, and what mattered to us.

Somehow, the little pieces become the story.

Maybe that’s what makes something an heirloom.

What’s something you’ve held onto? by @madebymagazines
