⁣The art of weaving. 🪡⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ So much has changed in my life and my practice over the last year so I felt called to reintroduce myself. My name is Madeline and I’m a designer, healing practitioner, and birth & postpartum doula trainee. I blend somatic healing, plant spirit medicine & clairvoyant modalities to help people make sense of the unseen world. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ My work is ever evolving and a consistent theme is helping people deepen connection with the innate intelligence of their bodies, intuition, and inner cycles.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣After almost a decade of mentoring and coaching leaders in tech and design, I started expanding my healing practice in 2020 after training at the Focalizing Institute. By blending somatic healing with clairvoyant modalities, I witnessed my clients heal long standing challenges and transform their lives. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣In 2023, I followed my inner voice and started training as a birth doula at Mama Glow. Stepping into this work has been a journey of coming home and honoring my maternal lineage. I finished my postpartum training in April 2025 and am currently working with families to complete all my requirements this year. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ This spring, I was selected to study with Karen M. Rose as an apprentice in her Spiritual Herbalism program. I’m so honored to continue weaving my path with the lifelong commitment of being a student to the wisdom of plants.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ As I devote 2025+ to my studies and expand my practice into somatic womb work, fertility, birth and postpartum care — I’ve had to change how I operate my practice as I balance weaving life and evolving interests.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ve had to add a waitlist for new 1:1 clients so I can hold space for my current ones with integrity, depth, and care. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ You can still catch me hosting various community events and classes in-person in Austin and online for my community in NYC & LA.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ Super grateful for all of my teachers, ancestors and love ones who are walking this path with me. 🧡⁣🌱 by @madelinehvu
You can be generations removed. You can live thousands of miles from your ancestral lands. You cannot speak the language, not know their names, not know the traditions, or feel like too much has been lost for you to ever find your way back. And you can still turn toward them. Because ancestral work is an act of remembering who you are within a story much larger than your own. It is an opportunity to understand what you’ve been carrying, choose what ends with you, reclaim what was powerful, and build a relationship with the lineage that made your life possible. No matter how displaced or disconnected you feel, you are still part of the lineage. And you get to decide what becomes possible through you now. Returning Home: Ancestral Healing Series (live virtual workshop series) 📆 Sundays 10/11, 10/18 + 10/25 11-1 PM CST 🔗 Link in bio to join by @madelinehvu
Your presence today is the proof. Your ancestors survived it all, and connecting with them is the ultimate healing act for ourselves, our lineage and for future generations. Tending to the relationship with your ancestors brings balance, insight, and healing regardless if you know who they are, their names, faces, or history. For those whose lineages survived displacement, colonization, migration, adoption, systemic denial, or enslavement: learn a trusted framework to protect your space, build your altar, and connect with your ancestors in a safe, grounded way. Register for Returning Home. A 3-week live series offering: ✦ Week 1 (Oct 11): Foundations of Ancestral Healing w/ @madelinevu ✦ Week 2 (Oct 18): Making Contact + Working with Difficult Ancestors w/ @thoughtfullythoroughanl ✦ Week 3 (Oct 25): Weaving an Altar w/ @ravellelaurette 📍 Sundays @ 11am–1pm CT 🎟️ Tap the link in bio to join us ✨ Save $30 with early enrollment through September 27th. by @madelinehvu
8 mistakes people make when working with ancestors 👉⁣ ⁣ Most people don’t get stuck because they lack devotion. They get stuck because they skip the foundations — opening the door without protection, waiting for names and photos they’ll never have, or only calling on the ancestors who are easy to love.⁣ ⁣ If your lineage was disrupted by enslavement, colonization, war, immigration, or adoption — you don’t need a complete history to begin. You need a clear framework, a safe container, and people to do this with.⁣ ⁣ That’s what Returning Home is. Three live workshops sequenced & designed to be a safe container for you to deepen into this work:⁣ ⁣ 🌀 Foundations of ancestral healing — w/ @madelinehvu⁣ 🔥 Making contact + working with difficult ancestors — w/ @thoughtfullythoroughanl 🌿 Weaving an altar — w/ @ravellelaurette⁣ ⁣ 📅 Oct 11, 18 & 25 · Sundays 11am–1pm CT ⁣ ⁣ Link in bio to save your spot 🔗⁣ ⁣ 🕊️ Save $30 with early enrollment by Sep 18. ⁣ ⁣ #AncestralHealing #ReturningHome #DiasporaHealing #AncestralWork #AncestorAltar by @madelinehvu
20 years ago, we were just college kids trying to figure out our next class. We’ve held space for each other through so many chapters of life, and now we’re excited to hold space for you!⁣ ⁣ 🗓️ Doors open October 11.⁣ 🎟️ Early bird registration is officially live! Return Home with us in October! Join us for a 3-part workshop series on reconnecting to ancestral lineage.⁣ ⁣ This series is for descendants of diaspora and displacement — whether your lineage was disrupted by enslavement, colonization, immigration, war, or adoption. It’s for anyone carrying inherited patterns they know didn’t start with them. It’s for those without a tradition to rediscover their own, and for practitioners who want to bring ancestral literacy into their own practice.⁣ ⁣ You don’t need to know your family tree. You don’t need a complete history. The ancestors know the way home, even when we’ve forgotten the path.⁣ ⁣ Across three live Sunday sessions, we’ll guide you through:⁣ ⁣ 🕊️ Foundations of ancestral healing + why it matters — w/ @madelinehvu ⁣ 🔥 Making contact + working with difficult ancestors — w/ @thoughtfullythoroughanl⁣ 🌿 Weaving an altar — w/ @ravellelaurette⁣ ⁣ 📅 Oct 11, 18 & 25 · 11am–1pm CT ⁣ Link in bio to save your spot 🔗⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #AncestralHealing #ReturningHome #DiasporaHealing #AncestralWork #Displacement by @madelinehvu
Celebrate Summer Soulstice with me on Sunday, June 21 at 5pm ET!⁣ ⁣ Join me for an hour workshop on Roses as Protection. You’ll learn how to work with the spirit and energy of Rose, one of the highest vibrational flowers on earth.⁣ ⁣ We’ll practice two psychic tools to call in protection and clear energy that isn’t your’s to carry.⁣ ⁣ Learn how to modulate your space and remove the fear, self-doubt, shame, and guilt that isn’t yours to bear. ⁣ ⁣ This workshop is open to all levels with a focus on helping HSPs, empaths, intuitives and folks curious about the spiritual nature of plants as teachers. ⁣ ⁣ Link in bio: $36 to join my session or $144 to join the whole weekend for the amazing lineup! by @madelinehvu
We live in an age where we can Google the health benefits of any herb in seconds. We have unlimited access to information, but information isn't the same as relationship. 📚 As Clairvoyant Healer and Herbalist Madeline Vu shares, we don't truly unlock the wisdom of nature until we start building a real relationship with the plants. By sitting with them, dreaming with them, singing to them, and tending to them, we shift our perspective. Plants are not just a collection of chemical constituents for us to exploit, extract, and consume. They are sentient teachers waiting for a relationship rooted in reciprocity. And as it turns out, science proves that when we tend to plants, the benefits are profoundly mutual. 📊 The Science of Plant-Human Reciprocity: Data shows that the act of tending to plants isn't a one-way street. Studies on biophilia and horticultural therapy reveal that actively caring for plants lowers human cortisol levels, reduces blood pressure, and boosts immune system activity (increasing natural killer cells). On the flip side, ecological studies show that plants respond directly to human care; mechanical stimulation (like gentle touching or tending) can trigger plant signaling pathways that strengthen their defense mechanisms and boost their own antioxidant production. Every single time you tend to a plant, they teach us a beautiful lesson of giving and receiving. When you move away from a mindset of extraction and toward a mindset of connection, your health, intuition, and nervous system transform. ✨ by @madelinehvu
Have you ever felt like your body just wasn’t built for the 9-to-5, Monday-to-Friday grind? That’s because it wasn’t. 🛑 As Clairvoyant Healer, Herbalist, and Doula Madeline Vu explains, our modern corporate system is run on the arbitrary, seven-day Gregorian calendar: a system originally created by the Roman Empire primarily for accounting, tracking labor, and collecting taxes. Our bodies were never meant to be synchronized with a tax ledger. Before the industrial era, human societies were agrarian, mapping their daily lives and energy to the cycles of nature. More profoundly, women were the original timekeepers. 📊 The Science of Biological Rhythms: While men operate primarily on a 24-hour circadian rhythm, women of reproductive age additionally operate on an circadian rhythm: a monthly cycle that governs their metabolism, immune system, and brain chemistry across four distinct phases. Forcing a body governed by a multi-week circadian cycle to perform identically every single day on a strict 24-hour corporate schedule is a primary driver of chronic fatigue, adrenal burnout, and hormonal imbalance. When we arbitrarily anchor our bodies to a rigid, artificial system, we disconnect from our natural intelligence. This is exactly why so many people are feeling profoundly depleted, exhausted, and disconnected. By tuning back into the four cycles of nature - and honoring our innate biological rhythms - we can stop surviving the corporate hustle and start thriving in our natural design. 🌿 by @madelinehvu

Flowers outlive empires.⁣ ⁣ The orchid was here ⁣ before the border was drawn. ⁣ Before the land was ⁣ named, claimed, divided, sold. ⁣ She watched it all — ⁣ the displacement, ⁣ the disempowerment, ⁣ the violence done in silence and outloud ⁣ in the name of ownership.⁣ ⁣ She is a living record. ⁣ A witness with no allegiance to power.⁣ ⁣ And her greatest act of resistance?⁣ ⁣ Simply this:⁣ to be breathtakingly beautiful ⁣ for no reason at all.⁣ To bloom for the ones ⁣ who were displaced from this land. ⁣ To bloom for the ones who never left. ⁣ To open, ⁣ to be looked at, ⁣ to be admired — ⁣ and then to wither, ⁣ to die, ⁣ and to come again.⁣ ⁣ This is her promise... Renewal is not hope. It is remembrance that life returns, that the land has its own memory, and that beauty is not frivolous. It’s resistance and it’s the earth’s way of saying: I am still here.⁣ ⁣ #plantmedicine #plantspiritmedicine #flowermagic #decolonize #psychicherbalism ⁣ by @madelinehvu
