A MUST VISIT when in Brighton and Hove! This is such an exciting move. Hi Cacti is one of my absolute favourite spots in town, and I couldn’t be happier for them 🥹 To many more horchatas and coffees in the sun 🌞

Can’t wait to channel my inner florist and do some more flower arranging in the near future 😌 No but I’m absolutely enamoured by my first Freddie’s Flowers delivery, just had to show it off 😍 I can’t think of a better Monday morning parcel!

I recently saw another creator mention the pressure of posting often/every day, and I found it just so relatable 🙃

I love creating content, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not an influencer. I make content for brands and businesses to use, yet there’s such a pressure to be visible on all these platforms. So I can’t help but feel a pang of guilt when I realise my latest post says “5 days ago” 🫩

Am I letting myself down and sabotaging the business I’m trying so hard to build? Or am I just an ambitious person that works all the time and is too tired to plan and post more than once a week or so, while trying to avoid a burnout? It’s hard.

Anyone else feel like this sometimes? If so, I get it and am sending you the biggest hug! 🫂

I reckon I’ll make this a regular series 👀 Sooo much about all of us UGC creators that doesn’t get “utilised” in content, and personally I’d love to get to know everyone better!

This was inspired by the incredible @livelaugh_laur 🥰 Hoping I’ll see more of these pop up 👀

Gorgeous vegetarian dishes served by the loveliest staff, right in the heart of The Lanes. Have you been?

I love capturing content like this, especially in autumn. Something so cosy about the simple joys of good food and good company when it gets chillier outside 🥰

A little look at some recent UGC I created for FlixBus 🚌 One of my absolute faaaavourite parts of this job is working out how to create multiple pieces of content from the same experience! Can be a challenge but also a lot of creative fun 🥰

Leaving a toxic corporate job and entering content creation has been one of the biggest hurdles of my life. Not just financially but also emotionally. Here’s some things I did to get through it …

I was given a chance, so I took it! Sounds simple enough, but when faced with something new (even what you’ve dreamed of) while knowing it might be a threat to your comfort and stability … it’s not always so easy.

Don’t be hard on yourself, though. Take it one step at a time. Weigh the risks and consequences, of course, but be brave!

Don’t burn yourself out. I’ve been there, multiple times - it’s an easy point to get to! Life is SO hectic SO much of the time. I have people around me to remind me to stop when I forget to (which, to be honest, happens often with my ADHD and the forever chase to perfection). If you do as well, then great, listen to them. If you don’t, do your best to pause. Set reminders if you have to.

Finding creativity after a long period of not practicing it much isn’t always easy. I felt like I’d been stationery for nearly 7 years. Coming out of that felt like freedom but also dread. Am I still creative? Can I be?

You are, and you can. Take a look around, you’ll feel the inspiration bubble up again.

I couldn’t be more grateful to my family and friends. The right people will stand by you through it all. When I exited the toxic job of multiple years, I felt like a new person, and the people around me said as much about me as well. Re-connecting with them, with inspiration and creativity, with old hobbies, essentially with my inner child … it’s been lovely. Scary at times, but so, so lovely.

So, what would you tell someone going through this journey? Let us know in the comments 🫶🏼 by @madgirl.content
