Four years ago today my life changed. Four years ago today my big brother became my guardian angel and there isn’t a day my heart hasn’t ached since. Grief is such a funny thing, it is always there, but sometimes it is subtle and other times it consumes you where thats all you can think of. It doesn’t always hurt, I can look back at the memories and smile and laugh, but the memories can also re break my heart into a million pieces. I miss you more than I can even put into words, I never expected to experience so many milestones without you, but now it is a reality I haven’t quite gotten used to yet. I wish I could call you and talk your ear off for hours like I used to. Now I just speak out loud to you and hope somehow someway you are listening. I will never understand why you were taken from us so early, but God knew you needed your wings. Until I see you again, keep sending me signs you are here. I love you bubby❤️👼🦋🌈 by @madiraeann_

It’s my baby girls 18th birthday today. If you know me, you know how much my @prkr.brock means to me. I cannot believe you’re an adult. It seems like just yesterday they were calling me out of my nap time in Kindergarten to bring me to the hospital to meet you. Being your Aunt is the title I’m the most proud of. From the first time I held you, even though I was only a little girl myself I knew that I would do anything for you and spend the rest of my life watching over you. ( Even though when you were like 2 we hated each other) but I am so thankful we got to grow up together🥹 I am so proud of the woman you have become, you are wise beyond your years, kind, gentle, loving, funny without even trying to be, breathtakingly beautiful, and somehow you have become the one I turn to for advice. I love you so much, and I don’t know what I would do without you. I pray this year is full of so many blessings for you. I hope you never fail to see yourself as the wonderful amazing woman I see you as. My built in best friend forever and ever🩷🩷🩷🩷 by @madiraeann_

“To me, bows symbolize God-not merely “tying up loose ends,” but making all things new, transforming what’s messy into something beautiful. He creates beautiful bows. He doesn’t just mend what’s broken; He transforms it, turning mess into beauty, ordinary into extraordinary. Every bow is a quiet reminder that He makes all things beautiful”

I have spent this past semester, designing and creating my garment named, “Tied By Grace.” I have spent 50+ hours sewing, creating the pattern, and thinking about every single little detail to make my dreams come to life. I wanted something that felt like me, but had a deep personal meaning.

This past year has been the hardest year of my life, I have gone through and experienced so much that I never thought I would have to go through. But God says, “These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold…” — 1 Peter 1:7

Throughout this season, God remains faithful. He is close to the broken hearted and works all things together for your good. I have learned to trust in God, put all my faith in Him and trust that he will restore the messy and broken, into something beautiful and tied together perfectly, just like my bow🩷 I’m so thankful for @uark_ampd and everything it has done for me, @uarkenclothe was a dream come true. by @madiraeann_
