🔥 SPOTLIGHT: Maggie Daniels

Maggie Daniels’ mother once called her a “magenta girl in a khaki world.”

It’s a fitting introduction to a poet, writer, and director whose storytelling brings an unfiltered viewpoint to familiar ground. Raised in the heart of the Bible Belt, Maggie carries Southern warmth and resilience into her work, drawing on the place she comes from while speaking in her own voice.

Whose writing reminds you of home, even when home is complicated?
