Talk about cool girls have cool jobs. 👀

Six years ago, I started with one client, zero followers and absolutely no idea where the journey would take me.

Today we’re a team of 7, manage 30+ social media accounts for brands and businesses across Michigan and beyond, built a thriving creator community @grcreatorcollective host social media marketing and content creator workshop at our own content creation studio @grcreatorstudio and still dream bigger.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me when I first started:

1. You don’t need a perfect plan to get started.
2. Your community will take you further than any business plan you could ever create.
3. You are not going to be everybody’s cup of tea. And that’s okay.

…and you do not need to figure it out alone.

There are resources and people like me who believe in your vision and are always here to help you.

Building a business has given me so much more than a career.

It’s introduced me to incredible people, opportunities I never imagined and a community that continues to inspire me every. single. day.

We’re excited for what’s next.

Cheers ☕️

Our camera roll after filming one month of content for your local restaurant.

Omg, this was so fun. Yesterday we had the pleasure to film with @posttavern one of THE best local restaurants in Grand Rapids, Michigan and after about 4 hours of phone eats first, we got

287 videos
33 close-ups of today’s specialty drinks
21 photos of empty plates
and at least 7 fry cheers

And somehow… we still wish we got one more shot but let me tell you, THE FOOD 👀 sooooo good.

Now we can’t wait to edit all those videos and see them live on @posttavern social media pages.

Here’s to more content shoots and even better hospitality.

Cheers 🥂

THIS is what it looks like when we film a month worth of social media content 👀

Today was our first official content shoot day with @theadahotel

And wow, this is probably the most stunning boutique hotel in West Michigan.

It’s the kind of place where every corner has its own story, every detail feels intentional, and creating content feels like documenting an exceptional experience.

After 3 hours of filming, 3 camera rolls full of footage, an almost checked off shot list and a whole lot of new ideas, our biggest takeaway is:

The best brands don’t need to force a personality.
They already have one.

And somehow this is only day one.

We’re excited for more.

Cheers ☕️

Romanticizing the little moments and a work life you don’t need a vacation from.

Somewhere along the way, I built a life where the work is just as fun as the life it pays for.

Creating content, building brands, meeting incredible people, hosting community events, and calling it all work.

The best part?! Getting to build it all right here in Michigan, surrounded by good people, beautiful places, ALL the necessary resources and endless opportunities.

13-year-old me would have a really hard time believing this is what we get to do for a living.

Cheers ☕️

I be thinking I post too much…

Well, let’s all remember this is my page and these currently trending single image posts were overdue.

A couple important facts:

1. The text overlay works best using the classic or classic medium font and colored text. And no, it doesn’t have to be butter yellow lol

2. The my camera roll screenshot makes a great first page of a monthly recap post ;)

3. The outfit link to the ghouls night out fit is linked in my Amazon storefront but for anyone wanting to AI it, you can absolutely recreate this in Adobe Firefly.

4. And the time stamp DIL template is available in my link in bio.

Now have fun creating. I can’t wait to see what you post.

Cheers ☕️

THIS is gold star behavior.

Here are THE currently trending Instagram carousel posts.

The I take a lot of pictures trend has been around for a minute but keeps evolving which is always fun to see.

I’m currently OBSESSED with the Who am I without and yes, but trend and will most likely create this for my own page and some of our clients.

Also what a privilege it is to SAVE, USE & SHARE this for later ;)

If you need templates for any of these please let me know in the comments and I’ll be happy to create them.

Cheers ☕️

The best marketing wasn’t happening on the runway 👀

Here are THE best New York Fashion Week pop-up campaigns and marketing moments:

From @chanelofficial turning fragrance into an immersive experience to @summerfridays taking over a café, @carolinaherrera building an entire world around Good Girl and @gap making a handbag launch impossible to walk past, brands weren’t just showing or handing out products.

They were giving people something to DO. *and STOP for.

The best NYFW pop-up campaigns I saw had a few things in common: a reason to show up, something worth experiencing, details worth filming and an easy reason to share it afterward.

The brands I missed at NYFW this year was definitely @rhode and I was also surprised to not see anything from @drinkpoppi and @americaneagle

I really hope to see them next year.

Which one was your favorite @nyfw pop-up?

We have a LOT to talk about this week.

This is literally me trying to have a somewhat serious conversation while getting ready for @nyfw 👀

So, if your job requires being chronically online, here’s your weekly social media marketing events & campaign briefing…

@rhode created another obsession.
The US Open created its own influencer drama.
@nyfw officially took over our feeds.
@ralphlauren is having another moment.
@gap might have created the next It Bag.
RushTok is basically a marketing channel now.
And Instagram Edits is coming for your carousels (FINALLY)!!!

Now don’t forget to SAVE, SHARE & USE this for later.

What did I miss?

Cheers ☕️
