Hard light, soft skin. It’s a delicate balance to retouch while keeping the texture real

Model - @aalexandrav

I’ve also been experimenting with a cooler palette. It’s not my usual style, but I’m loving it. I specifically focused on the color grading to give the blacks a matte, blue-toned undertone instead of pure black

To be honest, I’ve never taken any formal classes in studio lighting or beauty retouching - I’m self-taught, and I truly love figuring things out on my own taken in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan by @sisa.usask
