Saturday plans? You know the place to be is opening day at Main Street Modern! Doors open at 10AM, and you won’t want to be late! We’ve been stocking and styling the shop for months and the best stuff goes fast, y’all. See you there! by @mainstreetmodern

A classic Hans Wegner rocking chair got a fresh facelift in our workroom recently. We love the way the upholstery blends into the wood tones to create one seamless look! This chair was purchased at @mainstreetmodern and reupholstered here at @ohioworkroom. by @mainstreetmodern

The end of our open season is swiftly approaching! Only two more Saturdays to shop before we close our doors until Spring! While we’re closed to the public for the cold months, you can still reach out to make shopping appointments. But November 7th will be our last hurrah for a bit! Please continue to follow along here as we will still be here stacking new inventory and posting new arrivals! In the meantime, we will see you Saturdays from 10-3 for the remainder of the season!

We are a 40k sq ft warehouse full of vintage furniture, art, home decor, and vintage clothing. We’re located in Canton, Ohio at 618 Mulberry Rd SE. We also have another vintage furniture and wallpaper showroom (focused more on high end and refinished pieces) in downtown Canton at 440 Market Ave called @portfolio.440 that shares a space with our upholstery shop and fabric showroom @ohioworkroom! Come see us there throughout our off season! 🧡 by @mainstreetmodern

We had a fun Friday with the @mainstreetmodern and @ohioworkroom crew and need your help voting on a winner of our pumpkin carving contest! Chime in with a comment of the number you think should win! Happy spooky season, ya’ll! by @mainstreetmodern

We love a German made piece, and this one is just incredible! If you’re looking for a large piece to add presence to a blank wall in your home, this cabinet could be the solution you didn’t know you needed! Click the linked products to@shop, and come see it this Saturday during our open hours (10-3), or make a shopping appointment for a weekday. by @mainstreetmodern

The channel tufting, the tall back, the dramatic curves, and the sleek slim silhouette— what’s not to love about this Paul McCobb for Widdicomb chair? See her and about a zillion other cool places to sit at Main Street Modern this Saturday from 10-3! by @mainstreetmodern

This pair of vintage chairs from @mainstreetmodern received a well deserved makeover with @leejofa Mallorcan Ikat fabric. Look at the meticulous pattern matching of the upholstery— beginning with the back cushion, continuing down to the seat cushion, and trailing onto the front of the chair base— an amazing example of the high end craftsmanship you can expect from the team in our workroom. Swipe through to see some@before photos of the chairs! by @mainstreetmodern

While we were considering a caption for this post, the chairs sold online! So now we are considering a different pair to put in their place. We’ve been updating our website with new listings each week, so be sure to check it out regularly so you don’t miss out on a lovely set of orange armchairs, or whatever else your little heart desires. 🧡 by @mainstreetmodern

We love a chaise, but a chaise made for two? We adore. Get cozy in this Adrian Pearsall “Goop” wave chaise upholstered with an ochre crushed velvet. See it in store tomorrow (Saturday) from 10-3, or by appointment during the week. by @mainstreetmodern

Fresh on the floor: a fully restored Adrian Pearsall gondola sofa reupholstered in a pleasingly variegated seafoam green fabric. Coming to the website soon, but see her in person on Saturday from 10-3 or by appointment on weekdays. by @mainstreetmodern
