Let’s talk about pizza myths. 🍕👀 There are a lot of things about pizza that we hear over and over again. 48 hours is always better than 12. A wood-fired oven makes the best pizza. More toppings, better pizza… But is that actually true? Well… not always. 😏 We picked some of the pizza myths we hear all the time and took a closer look. Swipe through 👉 And if you want to really understand the why behind pizza making, that’s exactly what we do in our Professional Pizza Course. 🍕 📍 Berlin · 12ᵗʰ–16ᵗʰ October including Vincenzo Abbate’s Masterclass on the 21st October 📍 Munich · 19ᵗʰ–23ʳᵈ October Which pizza myth have you heard before? 👀 #makepizzaacademy #professionalpizzacourse #pizzamyths #pizzatraining #pizzaiolo by @make.pizza.academy

Do you see this nice picture? It means a lot to us. It’s one of the thousands we have in our archive that prove our work and the work of our students. They gained the knowledge, the understanding, and the skills to make a good dough and a beautiful pizza. Beginners feel a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information they receive during the course. Then they start connecting the dots, and before the course ends, the magic happens. Usually, once students leave our academy, they are ready to enter the market. Does this mean they can work like an experienced pizza baker? No way. That only comes with time and practice — humbleness and patience. There’s a big plus. Those who complete our professional pizza course understand what they do; they have the awareness that making pizza isn’t just putting a few ingredients together while singing an Italian song. And in the long run, this pays off. A lot! In terms of the quality of the product you can offer, in terms of time saved in understanding the rules of dough making and baking, in terms of the money you can make — the opportunity is there.
