Jing and Jason’s Wedding Featured in the Boston Globe ☺️ These two incredible souls married at the very place where they first met, high school. After graduation, they stayed in touch, reunited at Meta in San Francisco, fell in love, and moved across the country together. Jing’s story is nothing short of inspiring: arriving in the U.S. not speaking a word of English, she would later go on to serve in the White House under the Biden administration and work on both the Biden and Harris campaigns. Jason grew up in Andover. They had their welcome party at their family home next to a beautiful lake. All signs pointed that it was only fitting that they returned back to Andover to say “I do.” What a weekend and an awesome team! Link to their Boston Globe feature is in my profile! Small Business Saturday hits different when you’ve been doing this for over a decade ✨ To every client who has trusted us with their wedding day, maternity, branding, boudoir —thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it. For more than 10 years, you’ve allowed us to be part of your biggest moments. You’ve sat in our chairs, shared your love stories, laughed with us, cried happy tears, and trusted us to make you feel absolutely beautiful. When you choose @stylesbycallie for your hair and us for your makeup, you’re not just booking a service. You’re supporting two small business owners, our families, and our dream of doing what we love every single day. We’ve built our businesses one bride at a time, one referral at a time, one kind review at a time. And we’re still here because of YOU. Thank you for over a decade of letting us be part of your celebrations. We can’t wait for all the beautiful moments still to come. ✨ With so much gratitude, -Sarah&Cal 📸 @breonnawellsphotography by @makeupbysarah.lord
This summer truly came and went, and what an incredible time it was! • Take a peek through this gorgeous recap from @kylashattuck from a beautiful day spent at the Beauport ⚓️ by @makeupbysarah.lord
Styled shoots until I die 🤘🏼 • I love spearheading styled shoots because they give all of us vendors complete creative freedom to try the ideas we’ve been dreaming up. There’s so much cross-promotion and community that comes out of them, and so many lasting friendships too. Every shoot reminds me how much talent is in this industry and how much better we are together. Many more 📸’s to come • Photographer: @williamjuddphotography Model: @pretty_much__her Host & MUA: @makeupbysarah.lord MUA Assistant: @graceless04 Design: @tammygolsonevents Hair: @stylesbycallie & @styles.by.chelsey Gowns: @shopbellasera Jewelry: @virtuejewelersatelier Ceremony Arch: @bostonletsparty Stationery: @madelinepaperie Florals: @kvitkafarm Decor/Drapery: @jociahpartydecor Baked Goods: @old_soul_bakery Venue: @misselwoodevnts by @makeupbysarah.lord
Can we talk about how much I love scrolling through full wedding albums from our photographer friends? The attention to detail always blows me away, and I’ve even saved a few of the landscape images as my laptop and phone wallpapers (no shame!). Today I’m spotlighting @dampolophotography , truly one of the best in the business, for capturing our gorgeous couple Holly & Dean at @glenmagnafarms 🤍 My approach is always soft, natural makeup that lets your real glow come through, and Rachel’s images show it off perfectly. Thank you for making our work shine! by @makeupbysarah.lord
Yesterday was my last wedding of the year and it was such a perfect way to end the season… with the sweetest couple… Elianna & Matthew at Tupper Manor. Elianna’s dress was absolutely everything, a massive gown with a lace bodysuit… jaw dropping. Matthew was looking dapper in his navy suit and bow tie. Thank you two for an amazing close out to my 2026 wedding season! 🤍🤍🤍 Venue: @tuppermanor Photography: @dampolophotography DJ & Videography: @pallo_entertainment Makeup: @makeupbysarah.lord Hair: @stylesbycallie Florals: @poppyflowersco Cake: @treatbakingcompany Photobooth: @seacoastevents by @makeupbysarah.lord
When there was a 90% chance of rain on your wedding day but not a dang thing happened by you feeling!! Kelly and Jackson, you two are an absolute DREAM to work with, these two celebrated the big day over at @willowdaleestate this past Friday and man can these two party. Congrats you two!!! by @makeupbysarah.lord
2027 brides, this one’s for you 🤍 My calendar is filling up fast, and Saturdays are going quicker than ever. If you’ve been dreaming of soft, glowy, still-you-but-elevated glam for your big day, now’s the time to lock in your date. Based in New England but always happy to come along for the ride ✈️ 📸 @novaefilmandphoto by @makeupbysarah.lord
What nor’easter? 🌧️ Okay, half kidding. That was one wild weekend, but our brides glowed through every curveball the weather threw at them. Creating natural, effortless glam that holds up through wind, rain, and whatever else New England decides to serve is a skill I’ve (unfortunately) had plenty of chances to prove, and I’ll never stop being proud of it. MAJOR props to the vendors who rolled with the punches to provide the very best days for our clients. Thank you to our brides for trusting us ♥️ 📸 @joe.cod_ 📍 @barnatbradstreetfarm by @makeupbysarah.lord
Whenever I get a chance to shoot at Misselwood, I take it! Being right on the ocean at a beautiful manor house is always literal perfection🥹 I’m Will, a queer wedding photographer in the Boston area. I love photographing with true to color and love balancing editorial with documentary. If you’d like to work with me, don’t hesitate to reach out- or come follow along on my journey! Dear Crane Estate 🤍 You’ve never needed a filter, and neither have our brides. Rain or shine, fog rolling in or golden hour glowing, our brides have always looked stunning. Thank you for years of unforgettable mornings and radiant “I do’s.” 📸 @esrayphotography by @makeupbysarah.lord
Maggie + Gary 🤍 With another Nor’easter headed our way this Saturday, it feels like the perfect time to share this one. Maggie & Gary’s wedding was originally planned as an outdoor mountain wedding but less than 48 hours before their day, we made the difficult decision to move everything because of the hurricane/Nor’easter coming through. That meant moving 12 vendors, losing 3 of their original vendors, finding replacements, rebuilding logistics, and essentially replanning their wedding in under 48 hours. And somehow… they still had the most beautiful day 🤍 This is exactly why I love what I do. Wedding planning isn’t just about the pretty details. Sometimes it’s about making a million decisions behind the scenes, finding solutions when plans completely change, and making sure the couple never has to carry that stress themselves. Maggie wrote: “Our wedding would not have been the best day of our lives without Kayla. We are forever grateful.” 🤍 That means more to me than I could ever put into words. Maggie & Gary, I’d do it all over again. 🥹🤍 Coordination: @kaylaskreations_207 Photographer: @anastasiacreaserphotos Venue: @mountainhouseonsr Florist: @designsbyjanetblack Catering: @chaletcaterersnh Band: Big Fake & The Moneymakers Hair: @highlighting.the.good Make Up: @makeupbysarah.lord Desserts: @geminicafebethel by @makeupbysarah.lord
