We have seen how a simple conversation can spark an idea, how one photograph can inspire another photographer, and how sharing knowledge can encourage someone to see photography in a completely new way. This generosity is what keeps us going. As organisers, our hope is that KLPF can continue to be a place where photographers meet, connect, learn, share and inspire one another. Letโ€™s keep that spirit alive. Letโ€™s continue to share our passion, support one another and grow a healthy, welcoming and vibrant photographic community in Malaysia. ๐Ÿ“ธ #KLPF2026 #KLPF #KLPFMalaysia #30YearsOfKLPF #KualaLumpurPhotographyFestival #MalaysianPhotography #KLPFReinventingPhotography #VisitMalaysia2026 #SurrealExperiences #MalaysiaTrulyAsia #CutiCutiMalaysia #VM2026 #MOTAC #mymotac #GSSK2026 by @malaysia_klpf

Hi, Iโ€™m Jessica Chan , Iโ€™m the director of Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival @malaysia_klpf. Iโ€™m very happy to be here today to celebrate this 30th year of the KLPF with all of you. This 30th year is really a milestone for us. For 30 years, weโ€™ve become a legacy of visual telling. Our mission is to make everybody feel photography and make it a cultura as well as be connected to all the community of photography. . So this year is our 30th year and we are celebrating it with 5 core programmes which have been very successful. Like our theme exhibition โ€œSmileโ€ is a many splendid thing which also coincides with the Visit Malaysia Year to welcome everybody to Malaysia. And also โ€œApa Khabar Malaysiaโ€ is also one of our core programmes where we have 30 photographers who share their perspective on Malaysia. . And we have another programme where the curators have selected some of the fine work of students in our Young Photographers Programme called โ€œThe Curators Spotlightโ€. Well, and also we have here, this is our KLPF friendship wall. For 30 years, weโ€™ve developed a very very firm and special friendship through photographers. So, and this year we are celebrating our friendship with our friendship wall where our visitors who have come to the KLPF, they print the photo and print on this and keep remembering this special moment that they have in KLPF. . And Iโ€™m very happy that these 3 days, weโ€™ve so many visitors. I think itโ€™s maybe almost like 40,000 visitors. Iโ€™m very happy that you all have come together and celebrate this special event with us. And I hope that next year, we will be back here again, celebrating another milestone in our KLPF. With this, we hope that the younger generation will come here and continue the legacy of photographer with us. Thank you very much. . #AnakMalaysia #MalaysiaBoleh #KLPF #KualaLumpurPhotographyFestival #JessicaChan by @malaysia_klpf
