And just like that, my first season coaching Junior Varsity Girls Water Polo has come to an end. ❤️💛

I went into this season knowing I would be teaching, coaching, and hopefully making a difference in the lives of some young athletes. What I didn’t expect was just how much they would teach me, how much I would learn about myself, or how quickly a group of girls could find such a special place in my heart.

There is something so incredibly special about coaching. It’s about so much more than wins and losses, goals and games. It’s about watching confidence grow, celebrating the little victories, picking each other up after the hard moments, and seeing young people discover what they’re capable of.

To my girls, thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. I hope you know how proud I am of you.

And Sarah, thank you for opening the door and welcoming me into the Vintage Aquatics family. Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity and giving me a chance to be part of something so special. I am forever grateful that you brought me into this.

My first season is in the books, but I have a feeling this is just the beginning. My heart is full, and my whistle is getting a little rest. ❤️💛🤽‍♀️

To say I’m proud of the way these girls played their last two games would be an understatement!!! These girls played HARD! Second game we came back from -3 and kicked it into sudden death! Absolutely awesome games! I’ll have no voice the next few days, but it’s worth it! So proud of my girls! ❤️💛❤️💛❤️
