This is my Point of View, Might use it in few years to come, Mnipe Kura zenu 😅😅😂🥳🥳🔥

Behind every confident young woman in Health and STEM is someone who believed in her, mentored her, and showed her what’s possible. We are on a mission to empower the next generation of girls by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities that help them navigate their academic and career journeys. By investing in their dreams today, we’re building a future where young women lead boldly in science, medicine, technology, and innovation. Because when girls are mentored, they don’t just follow paths they create new ones.

I Had an amazing time at the GIRLS IN STEM workshop with over 140 brilliant young girls from different secondary schools in Dar es Salaam! The aim of the workshop was to inspire and empower these young minds to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, equipping them with the tools and confidence to become future leaders in these fields.

Huge thanks to our partners CRDB Bank and Coca-Cola Kwanza @cocacola_kwanza for the support.

Thank you to our government through the office of the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, led by Hon. @albert_john_chalamila by @malunde_happy

Being an advocate is rewarding, but let’s be honest? there are things about the advocacy space that need to be challenged.

From tokenistic youth participation to underfunded grassroots initiatives, we need to have more honest conversations about how advocacy actually works.

Especially in Africa, where many young people are doing important community work with limited resources and opportunities.

Advocacy should be more than conferences, photographs, hashtags and statements. It should lead to meaningful change. I believe we need to be honest about these realities if we genuinely want to create meaningful change. by @malunde_happy

A little reintroduction, because there’s so much more to me than what you see on this page.

I’ve been quiet on here for a while, but behind the scenes, I’ve continued learning, growing, serving, and becoming more intentional about the work I want to do and the impact I want to make.

For those who are new here, I’m a dental technician, youth and education advocate, and a young leader passionate about community development.

I care about a number of things: dentistry, quality education, girls in STEM, gender equality, adolescent health, and creating opportunities for young people to grow.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more about education and its intersection with adolescent health in Tanzania, career development, opportunities for students and young professionals, advocacy, and a little more of my own journey.

Basically, this page is growing with me, and I’m excited to take you along! 🤍

So please we’re officially catching up okay…? 😂🫶
