When your Friend asks you to come do a job in North Carolina you say “why the hell not”. Not wanting to fly back & forth I switched Rick & I to go straight there after Boston. What we thought would take us 4 days took us 5. Kinda hard without our equipment & a few extra guys but we pulled it off barely.
Thanks to all the errands and supply pick ups I did I got to see a large amount of NC & I’ll definitely be back.
Kinda impressed we finished & made it back to Utah (after stressing out over changing our flights again) just in time to surprise my besties at Deb’s Halloween Party & watch the UTES WIN!!!

The amount of times I take a deep breath & remind myself EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT…It Does 🥰

Last full day of this trip…working backwards this time.
@oliviarodrigo you were this girls only wish for her 25th Birthday. Since you weren’t coming to us we came to you. Jazmine selected Boston as her Concert Location. So we all literally tagged along.
(See videos for the immense Joy this brought. How Karsen got the extra ticket I still don’t know.)

Kyli & I enjoyed a date together eating some bomb tacos & vlogging/denying all 70 Hinge requests she’s gotten since she’s been in Boston…while we waited for them to finish the concert. Hilarious I tell ya!!!

Before that the rest of us decided when in “Rome”…
We did what any NFL junkies do…get the cheapest nosebleed seats and go to the closest game.
While neither team is on our radars it was still fun!!! The atmosphere is always so fun! And yes I love watching the cheerleaders too.
Traffic from the game may or may not have caused some serious stress and perhaps some tears all went well.

Glad I started my day soaking up the sun, the view & yes another Sunday Funday Sober.
This trip has been a dream!!!

Boston + October = Dream Fall Vacation

Still don’t know our way around although it feels like we’ve spent days in the car. How anyone ever navigated this area without Google/Apple Maps I’ll never comprehend!!!

Started the day off at the Haunted Warren museum.
Highly recommend while in Salem. If your into paranormal stories, true crime, and all things haunted it’s a must.
Took a drive through Boston passed by Paul Reveres home & the Boston Harbor…then on to hit a few different States. The trees are magical!!!
Stopped in Rhode Island got some Cheesesteak & Pizza. Connecticut as well. Skipped on Vermont.
Enjoyed the sunset and in true Mery Fashion finished with Football & Canasta.
PS I love New Hampshires State Motto

I may be the great great granddaughter of the witches that could not be burned, hung or killed…
We made it to SALEM!!! During its 400th Anniversary.
My empathy for the “Witches” both Women & Men killed based on Spectral evidence is unreal.
Glad that’s not a thing anymore. All really based on personal gain. The torture and pain is heartbreaking.
Saw the Witch House, Witches Dungeon & the Pirate Museum. Pirates seem to have changed from Ships to Yachts & Private Jets if you know what I mean.

Coming to Salem? My advice…learn the history & plan your day before if you’re hard up for certain tours. But don’t fret lots to see if you don’t & lots to shop for. Oh & wear comfortable shoes.

Day 2-Found a destination. Pemaquid, Maine
Rick’s Mom shared some family history from her side so we decided to go see where they first came to America. The Cogswell family sailed from England only to survive a crash into Pemaquid Lincoln Maine.
So we ventured to the spot!!! Stunning area. Felt very Nostalgic.
Then we did Oyster shots. First time for the kids. They didn’t all hate it 😝

First Family Trip all 6 of us have made it to that doesn’t involve work or dance in 7 years!!!
Day 1-Flight, checked into the cutest Airbnb, Amazing Italian Food followed up by a scary movie of course…Hokum
Day 2-No Agenda…Get in the car & GO wherever the wind takes us!!! Had to of course stop at the Beach.
You know I have to put my feet in soak up the Sun, Sand & Salt Water. Oh and chased a Seagull that definitely snatched Karsen’s bagel out of my bag.
