A lover’s Prayer, @mamaswaytheband at Naima, Forlì We keep on working. Studying. Developing. We throw a party when we play together * * * @vincesupervicaro @marcortese68 @albertant @riccardo_cata #lindyhop #swingdance #rhythmnblues #rhythmandblues #swingmusic @dangelicony by @mamaswaytheband
@mamaswaytheband at Naima, Forlì Sweet Substitute, composed by Jelly Roll Morton at the very end of his career. A song I have heard for the first time in New Orleans a while ago. I have been to New Orleans one time only. I have learned a lot in that trip and I’ve played my first baseball match: dancers vs musicians. @twobarbreak has posted a photo of that match lately. It is one of those photos that brings back a memories of what I was thinking when the photo was taken. Right before I hit the ball… Stay tuned for our upcoming shows with the Mama’Sway Video @marina_paci * * * #lindyhop #fesimentary #swingdance #jellyrollmorton mamaswaytheband by @mamaswaytheband

Playing far from home always feels a little exotic, and our time at Naima was truly special. 💫 Old friends, new faces, and the energy of everyone dancing to Mama’sWay… every single tune… pure magic. ✨ Years ago, I came to Naima to hear the Count Basie Orchestra, with the Good Fellas as the opening act. Standing on that same stage now, leading my own band, feels even more special. Huge thanks to Tiziana and Giorgio for welcoming us to Forlì and giving us the chance to share the music we love. A special shoutout to Tiziana. We met such a long time ago—she came to the very first workshop I organized in Milano with Markus and Baerbl. Since then, she has worked hard and with passion to build a beautiful Swing Dance community in her city. Her love for this music and dance is huge. The weekend was made complete by sharing Balboa and Lindy Hop ideas together with my dear friend, Barbara Cosi. I love what I do, and I’m so grateful for every step of this journey—still long, still exciting, and filled with joy. * * * @happy_tizi @barbara_cosi @mamaswaytheband #lindyhop #swingmusic #rnb #rhythmnblues #jazzdance #swingdance #fesimentary #totalblack #sparkle #vintagevibes #authenticjazz #balboadance #musicfordancers #jamfactorythefestival #swingdreamfactory by @mamaswaytheband

A contest, a battle a dance off. It was hard to find the right name, but… One o’clock jam competition. A 1 vs 1 contest in the old school way. It’s a tournament and only one dancer will make it to the final. “What do I have to do?” You might think… Well… all you’ve got to do is feel the music and dance. Everyone competing last year said: “I have had the feeling I was dancing at home” “ * * * Swing Dream FactoryJam Factory the Festival #swingdreamfactory #jamfactory #jamfactorythefestival #jazzdance #solojazz #jazzcommunity #jazzcompetition #authenticjazz #swingdance #lindyhop #oldfashion #oldschool #oldskool #jazzbattle #swingbattle #charlestondance by @mamaswaytheband
