This is a stunning Drawing Room we decorated as part of a bigger project. The black ceiling compliments the dark floor perfectly, without affecting the gorgeous natural light. It’s always a pleasure to work on stunning period properties, and this gorgeous custom kitchen by @scholefieldson and @origininteriorsltd is no exception. Aside from my fondness for its owner and her stunning interiors vision, this Manor House holds a special place in my heart. Decorated over the course of a couple of years, this property has seen me through some important life events and was my calm backdrop for big decisions and big thinking. Take a look at @origininteriorsltd for their gorgeous interior design work Paints used throughout by @littlegreenepaintcompany #manorhouse #periodproperty #somersethouse #englishcountryhouse #englishcountrygarden by @mandala.interiors
I bought these two gorgeous ceramic pieces today by @jamesnewboldceramics at the West Bristol Arts Trail. They suit my current lounge aesthetic so well, it was impossible not to buy them. It was lovely to return to Bellevue Crescent, which was the first Bristol street I lived on, with today’s fellow art trail fan and Bellevue housemate @matthewpriceartist It felt poignant as it was also where Mandala Interiors was founded. Life is a series of circles, cycles and connections. 🙏🏻 #loungedecor #ceramics #lifeisbeautiful #interiors #ukhomes by @mandala.interiors
There’s something truly special about restoring elegance to the heart of a period home. This recently completed hallway, stairs and landing project in a beautiful Victorian property creates a calm, cohesive flow throughout the space by using a full colour drench from ceiling to floor. The shade used was ‘Powder V’ by @paintandpaperlibrary - sophisticated and timeless, this is a shade that perfectly complements the architectural details and natural light throughout the space. The internal hallway door and architrave were finished in ‘Kittiwake’ by @farrowandball to add an additional element which looks gorgeous against the warmth of the Powder V #periodproperty #victorianhome #elegantinteriors #hallwaydecor #heritagestyle by @mandala.interiors
Pastels are definitely in this year - but we think they work especially well in bathrooms. Softening the hard surfaces with these soft shades is a great way to help the space stay bright whilst giving it some character. This is one recently completed in a lovely Victorian terraced home in Southville. With an elevated view of Chew Lake, this glass fronted farmhouse extension has light to die for. Beautifully toned into the surrounding landscape with Oxford Stone on the walls, ceiling and woodwork. @farrowandball #LuxuryInteriors #EnglishFarmhouse #HeritageHomes #SomersetHomes #BristolInteriors by @mandala.interiors
A gorgeous full height stairwell wallpapering project in the Chew Valley. Wallpaper by @wmorrisandco Designer @victoriaharveyinteriors Tower hire @hss.diy @hssproservicemarketplace I’ve done countless wallpapering projects this year now and it’s nice to know that it has made a bit of a comeback, after not being so requested for a few years. #hssgrandjobs #stairwell #wallpaperinspo #wallpaper #stairsdesign by @mandala.interiors
Gold ceiling rose to go with your red ceiling? Why not?
