Please read this post and donate if you feel drawn to. Many of you have met my cousin, Casey & her husband Joe that moved here from California. They adopted this big guy from the Skiatook Animal Shelter recently and he's been in the best hands ever since!

"Today marks 3 weeks since Rufus joined our family so we wanted to share an update regarding our sweet boy! 🐾♥️

We learned within a couple days that he’s been living in constant pain for sometime. Our vet discovered that Rufus’s ear canal is completely calcified from years of untreated ear infections. The damage is irreversible at this point, and now needs surgery to relieve his pain and give him the quality of life every dog deserves.

Despite everything he’s endured, Rufus is incredibly sweet, loving, and trusting. He deserves the chance to finally live without pain and enjoy the life he was always meant to have.

If you’re able to help, every donation will go directly toward Rufus’s surgery, medical care, and recovery. If donating isn’t possible, sharing his story would mean the world to us.

Thank you for believing in second chances and helping Rufus live the comfortable, pain-free life he deserves.

If this fundraiser raises more than Rufus’s medical expenses, the remaining funds will help Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue (SPACAR) continue to provide other animals the care they need.

Out with the old (one of ours so far) and on to the new!! We get to share this view everyday now! by @mandastoria

Out of everyone, everywhere, across all the versions life could’ve taken… you found each other at the same time.

And then chose to stay.

Day in & day out.

That’s gotta be one of the craziest parts of being alive. 💕

Another trip in the books! Moab is absolutely gorgeous. And congrats to Will & Jess.. thank you for letting us celebrate with you! by @mandastoria

Weekend trip to Moab, UT for a beautiful red rock wedding and saw a few sights along the way. Took in some amazing views in Dead horse point, watched the sun rise in Arches National Park, found dino tracks and bones, jumped off a 400’ cliff with @ropeswingmoab, and spent the days hiking around with friends and my forever wedding date. by @mandastoria

We went the extra mile to try and save these bunnies after their mother neglectfully nested in a yard with 3 "crackhead Frenchies" (words of a sweet lady at Wild Heart Ranch) ...I put a shelter over them and a baby fence around it. I'm not sure if they got too cold overnight or if mom just stopped coming back. They were just alive yesterday. 😢 by @mandastoria
