I never thought I would be raising my kids through a second civil rights movement, but here we are. I’ve said it before but it’s worth repeating, America was founded on the principles of freedom to practice the religion you so choose, without being targeted by the countries leaders, and to seek a better life with economic mobility. We have become what our founders were fleeing. What a shame. by @mandi.h.chappell

I may have to go outside the city lights for round 2 tomorrow! #northernlights #aurora #solarflare by @mandi.h.chappell

This school year legitimately went by too fast. We all had the BEST year though. Between in classroom growth, extracurricular growth, physical growth (why are my children SO TALL?!), and amazing times with the most wonderful school friends who have become like family, I will sincerely miss this year and look back with such fond memories. by @mandi.h.chappell

Last minute as it may be, I wanted to take the opportunity on the final day of Autism Awareness Month to (with her blessing) share with our friends and family some insights, traits and fun “quirks” that our dear Anna experiences on a day-to-day basis. by @mandi.h.chappell

(Sound on!) A big thank you to @stageright_kc for turning out yet another wonderful fall semester/holiday concert. We are so proud of our little #Vocalite soloist (Millie is so brave!), as well as our #Vocolation and #Vocamotion kiddos. by @mandi.h.chappell

This little lady has become an incredible reader over the past 6 weeks. I am so glad she loves reading. We are really lucky to have such incredible teachers at Prairie. 📖👩‍🏫 by @mandi.h.chappell

Here we go again! 7th (we have a middle schooler! 😳), 4th & 1st; let’s do this! Thanks @prairiepta for all that you all do to make this the best school ever! by @mandi.h.chappell

Summer favorite: Panzanella salad with tomatoes fresh from the @prairiepta garden. YUM! 🍅 🥖 🧀 🌿 by @mandi.h.chappell

My little loves headshots from their summer theater camp came in today. They perfectly capture each of their current personalities. My calm, collected Anna; rambunctious, happy-go-lucky Nathan; and up-for-anything Amelia. Thank you for an amazing summer experience @stageright_kc 🎭🧜🏻‍♀️🎶 by @mandi.h.chappell
