World Championship 2026 @otillorace ended with me in ”SIPE” and a DNF for the first time 💔
.
Sorry is the first word, Sad is the second & the third is Broken!
.
Me and @kjellgrenklara was training hard this year for the big race and I know we could have done a realy good race as we was 1-2min after the leading team when the problems with my lunges started…. I had more and more problems with my breathing and it was just getting worse and worse….. we needed to end the race after 35km. At that point we had 35km left and I had big problems with my lunges. We had to walk for a loong time as I was coughing and I was almoust not capable to breath in the swimming. I never had this before and I has been raceing Swimrun for 12 years, it was my 7’th start at @otillorace World Championship this year.
.
I don’t quit, I don’t give up, but I realy did’t had a choice 💔
.
I did pray for a short Recovery and hoped to feel strong for the last race for this season in Cannes 🤞🏼 body and soul is recovering!
.
.
.

Thank you everyone for all the support ❤️ Thank you @otillorace for always the best race’s, medical help & the support from all the kind helping hands who was there for me when I needed it the moust!
.
.

I still need some time to accept this, It has been some hard weeks for the body and mind to get back on track!
