Hello everyone, unfortunately, I had some technical issues with my computer and wasn’t able to edit any photos. But now—with a new computer—I’m back after a few weeks! Let’s start with - what I think is - the biggest highlight of the past few weeks: At the end of April, this 60-year-old CAVOK AN12 UR-CBG came to Stuttgart on a cargo charterflight. What a stunning sight ( and sound)! #FlySTR #FlughafenStuttgart #URCBG #CAVOK #AN12 by @marco_edds

I never expected to see this aircraft here in Stuttgart: This Qatar Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster III brought two Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopters to the military side of the airport for maintenance. A7-MAB is the only C-17 with civilian livery and therefore a major highlight for EDDS. The aircraft arrived in Stuttgart from Malaysia—with several stopovers in Dubai and Cairo—and then flew back to its home base in Leipzig after spending the night at EDDS. #FlySTR #FlughafenStuttgart #An124 #Antonov #UR82027 by @marco_edds

What a nice way to end the 2025 Planespotting-Season: Today i’ve made my way to Speyer Airfield for this amazing Basler BT-67 aircraft. C-GEAJ is already 82 years old and is currently stationed at EDRY for some geothermal missions. Hopefully, Bell Geospace will operate this plane for many more years to come! #SpeyerAirport #EDRY #BellGeospace #Basler #BaslerBT67 by @marco_edds
WOW – what a fantastic highlight! Last Friday, in the last rays of sunlight, this beautiful Antonov An26 from the Ukrainian Air Force arrived in Stuttgart for a visit to the American armed forces. It has been more than two years since this amazing aircraft type was last seen in Stuttgart – hopefully we won’t have to wait so long for the next visit! #StuttgartAirport #FlughafenStuttgart #FlySTR #UkraineAirForce #AN26 #Antonov #Антонов #AH26 #Military #AirFroce #Aviation #Instaplane #Instagramaviation #Planespotting #Planespotter #Instaaero #авиация by @marco_edds
