Shame dies when stories are told in safe spaces. 🫶🏽

Our past doesn’t disqualify us from having a purpose. Somebody needs to hear your story.

Come fellowship with us every Friday at 7p at Our House. This is why we recover out loud. 🙏🏽 #sober #sobercommunity #wedorecover by @marcosaguillen

The drug landscape is changing and the risks are becoming increasingly serious.

Our guest, Marcos Guillen, shares what he’s seeing firsthand in his practice, including growing concerns surrounding fentanyl and the devastating impact substance use can have on individuals, families, and communities.

The best feeling in the world? Knowing that no matter what you’re going through, you have people who will stand beside you. ❤️

The right community can give you hope when you’re struggling to find it yourself.

Drop a ❤️ if you’re grateful for the people in your corner.

You can be someone’s last straw or that one person who reminds them there’s still good in this world. You never know what somebody’s carrying. Let your words give them a reason to keep going🫶🏽💯 #FormerlyIncarcerated #SecondChances #Reentry #RedemptionStory #RecoveryOutLoud by @marcosaguillen

Persistence + consistency help me keep what I prayed for 🙌🏽 Drop a ❤️ in the comments if you agree! #wedorecover by @marcosaguillen

No matter how bad things look, remember God is still working. Even when we can’t see it, He’s working it all together for our good 🙏🏽💯 by @marcosaguillen

FIRST-EVER FIREFIGHTER COMBINE & QUALIFICATIONS was a success! 🔥💪🏽

Thank you to @antirecidivismcoalition and @futurefireacademy for believing in people like us, helping create real second chances, and creating a career path toward independence. 🙏🏽

Shout out to my brother @jon.cesario and @michellemsotelo for pouring into these men and women, building character, and reminding us there’s more to OUR story.

“Bear one another’s burdens.” We aren’t meant to walk through the fire alone, and we aren’t meant to keep the lessons to ourselves. The pain you survived is exactly what makes you uniquely qualified to help someone else heal. 🤍

Some days we’re making moves. Other days it takes everything just to show up. I’ve had both. 💯

Life gets hard. Motivation comes and goes. That’s where discipline comes in—keep doing the work even when you don’t feel like it.

You don’t have to move fast. Just keep moving. And always remember the turtle won the race 🫶🏽 Thank you @postmasterrick for sharing experience, strength and hope. #wedorecover #endmassincarceration #soberlife #ourhouse by @marcosaguillen

Sometimes we come to God asking Him to change our circumstances, not realizing that WE are the ones He is preparing to change. 🙏🏽💯

We pray for better opportunities, better relationships, peace, happiness, and a better life. But sometimes God doesn’t change what’s happening around us until He starts changing what’s happening WITHIN us. ❤️

Through my journey in recovery, I’ve learned that the biggest transformation wasn’t just putting down the drugs and alcohol. It was changing my mindset, my heart, my habits, the people I surround myself with, and most importantly, finding my PURPOSE. 💯

Sometimes the things we thought were breaking us were actually building us into the people we were meant to become.

God didn’t just change my circumstances. He changed ME. And for that, I’m forever grateful. 🙌🏽 by @marcosaguillen
