POSTS STORIES REELS
The thing I realized about death is that it doesn’t happen just once. It happens over and over. Today feels like a death and a rebirth. A shedding of old versions of me that no longer feel true, and a becoming of someone more honest, more real, and finally clear about what she wants. Today, I feel at home in my own skin. I carry no judgment toward anyone. I’m learning the courage to be disliked and still like myself, and to do everything with love. by @maria.feelms
I’m incredibly grateful to have been awarded an invitation to the Agora Doc Market at the next edition of the @filmfestivalgr with my first feature documentary, اعترافات جسد (Confessions In Arabic). A heartfelt thank you to @angelvergou for believing in our film and awarding it this beautiful opportunity. Thank you @aflamuna for three inspiring days filled with meaningful conversations and for connecting us with remarkable professionals and wonderful human beings. A special thank you to my incredible team for believing in this film every step of the way. And to all the women who trusted me with their stories and chose to embark on this cinematic journey and mission with me. This film exists because of your courage, generosity, and trust. A very special thank you to @femalecomms @hayatmirshad for their invaluable contribution and for always supporting women’s stories that need to be told. My producers and I are incredibly happy to celebrate this new milestone in our journey. We can’t wait to bring Confessions in Arabic (اعترافات جسد) to the international documentary community in Thessaloniki. @muriel_aboulrouss @intuitivefilmlab @hibalouis @quo.films by @maria.feelms

We’ve learned so many ways to say “period” without actually saying it. The words we use can carry the shame we’ve been taught. Making periods feel normal starts with being able to name them openly, without embarrassment or the need to explain ourselves. #WingWomanLebanon #MenstrualAwareness by @maria.feelms

This was filmed three years ago, when I felt the need to share some heavy feelings. Today, it still feels the same, only heavier. And just when I thought I had finally found a home, I find myself today questioning what home really means. by @maria.feelms
