Day 2 in Kauai: No better way to celebrate my birthday 🌊🌴👯‍♀️

Lost in paradise with my bestie @louiserply , surrounded by luxurious nature, exploring waterfalls and scenic beaches…

We went for the Hanakāpī’ai Falls Trail in Ha’ena State Park, Kaui — An 8-mile journey from breathtaking coastal views to hiking through the jungle, crossing rivers to finally reach a magnificent waterfall… My favourite hike in Hawaii from far!
We almost ran out of water since I accidentally left half in the car and lost the rest at the falls. 😅 Kudos to us for our water management skills and (almost) staying calm.

We ended up the day with an amazing sunset at our new campsite, Kumu Camp, followed by local beer tasting🍻 at Napali Brewing Co. and a sweet dinner at Oasis on the Beach. 💙 by @marineleroux

Heading out early tomorrow for Kauai! ✌🏼🇺🇸 by @marineleroux

Day 4 in Maui 🌅

Woke up at 3am to chase the sunrise at the summit of Haleakala National Park. Almost got frozen before the sun popped up - the wind and cold were no joke.

Once we warmed up, we hit the Keonehe’ehe’e (Sliding Sands) Trail going into the Crater. Truly felt like stepping into a science-fiction movie. The altitude and rising sun made it a challenge, but the landscapes were more than worth it.

After a well-deserved brunch at Grandma’s Coffee House, we headed straight to the beach before settling into our new camp, Camp Olowalu, on the west coast of Maui. 🌊🏕️ by @marineleroux

Day 3 in Maui 🌴✌🏼

✔️Hiked the Pipiwai Trail to reach Waimolu falls
✔️Tried the famous Huli Huli Chicken with
its secret sauce near Koki Beach - best chicken ever (not kidding)
✔️Stopped for a quick swim and lil’ nap
✔️Reached Hosmer Grove Campground at 2000 meters of altitude - excited to head up to Haleakalā’s summit to watch the sunrise early morning tomorrow 🌅
✔️Short and fresh night under the stars in the middle of nature - didn’t stay out until late as we were freezing
