Becoming myself is a lifelong process.

Knowing myself better, unlearning old patterns, and staying open to what lies ahead, that’s the real flex.

Growing also means changing.

Finding my way back to myself means having the courage to leave the old me behind.

With time, I’ve become less interested in having all the answers and more interested in understanding what truly matters to me.

What deserves my time.
What deserves my energy.
What kind of person I want to be.

I don’t want to simply grow older.
I want to grow deeper.

There’s so much of myself I’m still discovering. And I like that.

I don’t think knowing who I am means having myself completely figured out.

I’m constantly learning, questioning, changing, letting go of things that no longer fit and making room for what does.

This is my journey, and I decided to embrace it.

A gentle reminder from my future self. ♡ by @mariselahalaguy

Some stories find us at different moments in life and, somehow, they never mean quite the same thing twice. by @mariselahalaguy

Thoughtfulness 🤍

The kind that remembers.
The kind that notices.
The kind that listens.
The kind that stays.

Some paths feel like they're leading you back to yourself.

Inspired by what Rabbi Zusha of Anipoli said:

“When I enter Olam HaBa (the world to come), they won’t ask me,
‘Marisela, why weren’t you like Moses?’
They will ask me,
‘Marisela, why weren’t you Marisela?’”

G-d didn’t create me
to repeat anyone.

He created me with a specific intention,
with a unique way
to reveal something in this world.

and in the end,
it won’t be about what I achieved
or who I resembled—

but whether I was faithful
to the One who created me,
by fully becoming
who He called me to be.

•

Di-s no me creó
para repetir a nadie.

Él me creó con una intención específica,
con una forma única
de revelar algo en este mundo.

y al final,
no se trata de cuánto logré
ni de a quién me parecí—

sino de si fui fiel
a Aquel que me creó,
siendo exactamente
quien Él me llamó a ser. by @mariselahalaguy
