7 months ago, I had the worst performance in my whole powerlifting career. I promised myself, that 7 months later, I would redeem myself and win that title Ive trained so hard to achieve - A BENCH PRESS CHAMPION. All that training, dieting, mental battles, and it all paid off. I beat the original record by 40lbs. I am officially the North American Bench Press Champion!!!! I want to thank all the important people in my life that helped me get to the point I am at now. My amazing mother, she is the best mom in the whole world. I couldn’t have done this without your never ending support. And Masa, one of my best friends I could ever have. Without your support, I also wouldn’t be at this point in my life right now. I want to also thank and congratulate everyone else for their support and AMAZING performances!! You all did fucking AWESOME.

Fall 7, stand up 8.

It’s complete. 3 months later, and I am officially a PRIVATE PILOT!!! Hours and hours of hard work studying, flying, and learning from trial and error, and the reward? Passing my private pilot checkride. Unlike the sport pilot license, private opens the door to MANY, many more opportunities in flying, and I am excited to progress through this!! Thank you to all the amazing people that helped me achieve my goals!! This is just the beginning, though. Next stop - my instrument rating!!

It is officially the end of my training block. Surprisingly, I’ve made probably the most progress ever since last year’s prep. With stuff going on in college, endless flights, stress, I was not expecting to add an extra 12lbs onto my bench pr, let alone do decent on my squats and deads along with hitting multiple other lifts. I’m also very light rn in comparison to before.

⬇️Lifts ⬇️

Bench:
I have made the most progress on this lift. I managed to put over 12lbs on my previous paused max, and additionally hit some smooth sets on previous days.

Squats:
Honestly mixed emotions on this one. Overall, I am genuinely shocked at how I’ve still managed to be consistent w/ my performance despite skipping 2 squat days during this block. I’ve never gone heavier than 455 in over a year.

Deadlifts:
As always, deadlifts suck. However, this was the first block I’ve decided to lock in on my deads. No pr’s, but we hit a smooth single. From this point on, I’m gonna stop using straps and revert back to hook.

ONTO THE NEXT!!!!!!!!

Bro rlly flew 300 MILES to have a sleepover 😭🙏

Carson City -> San Louis Obispo!! Flew down to see my friend for the night. 271nm (312 mile) solo xc. This is the longest cross country flight I have ever done in my time as a pilot, and we did it solo. Flew in on day 1, left for home on the next. 2h 45min to, and 2h back. Bro drove all the way up to visit before, so I had to return the favor. Unforgettable experience. Gas bill wasn’t so fun at the end tho 😖 by @marki.kgs_

Oregon!! 🌲✈️
KCXP—>KLMT (Klamath Falls). By far my favorite xc flight. 230nm each way!!

Thanks adam.erhard for coming along too 🤟
