Big news on the conservation front: Mark Kenyon is taking the lead as our new Director of Conservation.

Conservation isn’t a side project for us—it’s the foundation. And 2025 proved just how much work it takes to defend public lands, wild places, and wildlife when they’re under pressure.

Pushing back required hunters, anglers, recreationists, and everyday people who still believe in the ethic of Theodore Roosevelt: do the work, protect what matters, and leave it better than you found it.

As we head into 2026, we’re doubling down on leadership. With @olcal406 stepping into the President and CEO role at Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, we’re fired up to have Mark leading our conservation efforts here.
