Just a normal Friday rehearsal…no silly business at all. (Note:! This is a relatable and funny #meme it is not a dis on my school or conductor. He’s doing what needs to be done 🙂👍) #percussion #band #zombie #xylophone by @marks.percussion

Got the opportunity this weekend to check out the MET museum in NYC. It was great to see percussion history, including seeing a pair of double steel pans (not sure if they were double tenors or seconds…I’m just a silly lead player), with a description of the instrument fighting through the colonial British control in Trinidad and Tobago!🇹🇹 PERCUSSION FOR THE WIN! 💥💥 by @marks.percussion

The hardest thing was not hitting the too hard, I’m so used to the feeling of lead pans. #steelpan #pan #instrument #newcomp #music by @marks.percussion
