I’m elated to share the trailer for my new screendance film TRACE. More than a year in the making, this work evolved to become one of the most complex artistic undertakings I’ve embarked on to date.

Created in collaboration with paleontologists at Waco Mammoth National Monument, this experimental screendance considers extinction, ephemerality, and the traces we leave behind.

Enormous thanks to my collaborators throughout this kinaesthetically and logistically intense process:

Cinematographer: @markthedop
Performers: @official_ryleeb @sophie.anjoli @g.hmcgee @maceysvasquez
Waco Mammoth National Monument collaborators: @lindseytyann Theresa Moore @wacomammoth
Filming location: @mooreranch
Audio assistance: John Moeller
Production support: @tamupvfa College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts, @tamu Texas A&M University

Sound design created from original, found, and manipulated sound and spoken word.
