fav place in the whole 🌎 !! by @marleegw

oh how do I even begin to find the words.
to call these wonder humans my friends doesn’t feel adequate, they’re my family.
we busted our asses for this. pulled way too many all nighters. cried together, laughed (a lot) together, screamed together (my AD’s know) and most of all, we became family for life.

when I came to Liberty, I almost left probably 10 times, not because I couldn’t do it, but because i didn’t feel like it was my calling. I work in film, you don’t need a degree to do well, but I wanted one not because I had the privilege to be able to, but because I think education is more than just the degree. It’s the people you meet, the skills you learn, the fire that they throw into.

It wasn’t until junior year when we all walked into that camera vault that my entire life changed.

What we walked through really could’ve taken 5 years (we literally spent 90+ hours a week on projects and in meetings), it was grueling. But we found ourselves, our passions, and most importantly, each other.

my friends, thank you for showing me what it is to find meaning beyond passion, to find a group of people that truly change the trajectory of life. I cannot even be sad because you all have a divine talent and I have no doubt our paths will cross for the rest of our lives. Go kick ass, you all mean the world to me, love you guys🥹

to my parents, thank you. For believing in me. Encouraging me. Lifting me up when I would call sobbing because I was so lost. Thank you for not laughing at my dreams, but fostering them. I love you endlessly.

So! What’s next?? I will be working with @motionadrenaline as a producer and I have the honor of working beside the man that instilled the love of filmmaking in me @kirk_wray 🩷

Obvi I’ll be using that fashion design minor and set costuming work (hi @ariellebielicki ) to design for commercial and narrative :)

oh how happy I am to be living my dreams.
kk that’s it,
friends, let’s show the film industry what we’ve got❤️‍🔥

An ode to this beautiful life, filmmaking, and the friends that surround me and fill my life with love!!

ugh the senioritis is real, but I’m so blessed to have a job that fills me with such joy and gives me excitement for the things to come.

Soaking up every final moment of my chapter here in Virginia, but excited and filled with nothing but gratitude for the joy I get to have everyday and the purpose that filmmaking gives my life🩷

Enjoy these little snapshots of life, no specific time frames, just shots of the joy that is life :) by @marleegw
