If I owned a coffee shop…(part 6) ☕️🤎 From getting the coffee-to-milk ratio right to collaborating with local businesses, I believe the little details can make a BIG difference in a coffee shop’s success. I would focus on quality over quantity, build a strong community, create an experience worth coming back for, and use social media to turn first-time visitors into loyal customers. Whether you’re a coffee shop owner, a local NJ café, an aspiring café owner, or simply someone who loves discovering great coffee shops, I’d love to know your thoughts! ☕️ Coffee shop owners: Which one would you prioritize? 🤎 Coffee lovers: What do you wish more coffee shops would do? Follow @marmodernvibes for NJ coffee shop recommendations, coffee finds, and more things I’d do if I owned a coffee shop! #coffeeshop #njcafe #njcoffee #njcoffeeshop #coffeeculture by @marmodernvibes

From overpriced lattes and overly sweet drinks to customer service, ingredients, and coffee quality, these are some of the things my followers have shared with me about visiting coffee shops. And it got me thinking: What actually makes a coffee shop worth returning to? Is it the espresso? The quality of the ingredients? The price? The atmosphere? The customer service? Or the entire experience? As someone who loves exploring coffee shops across New Jersey, I’ve learned that two people can visit the same place and walk away with completely different experiences. But I also want to hear from the other side. 👇 ☕ COFFEE LOVERS: What makes you a loyal customer? What would make you decide not to return? 🤎 COFFEE SHOP OWNERS & BARISTAS: What do you wish customers understood about the craft of coffee, pricing, ingredients, and running a coffee business? This isn’t about calling out businesses. It’s about creating space for honest conversations and understanding both sides of the coffee counter. Running a coffee shop is hard work. Customers also want to feel that their experience is worth what they pay. Great coffee matters, but so does the experience. #njcoffee #coffeeshop #njcafe #coffeeculture #coffeecommunity by @marmodernvibes
