The Malcontent Uniformโ„ข. โ€” Pt. 3. A little surplus, a little skate culture, and absolutely no interest in dressing like a functioning member of society. Normal hobbies are overrated. #ProfessionalMalcontent #MalcontentUniform #DesertTiger #married2multicam #tacticalstreetwear by @married2multicam
Recruitment efforts are going well. Benefits include candy, questionable life choices, and an unhealthy appreciation for camouflage. Equal opportunity employer.โ„ข๏ธ HH! ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ‘ป #married2multicam #professionalmalcontent #halloween2026 #dadlife #homelife by @married2multicam
I grew up playing dress up as a soldier. Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that one day Iโ€™d wear the uniform for real. Joining the military was always something I wanted to do, but life had other plans. Got distracted, took a different road, and never quite made it happen. Sometimes I wonder what life would have looked like if Iโ€™d taken that path. But then again, I probably wouldnโ€™t have met my wife, built the family I have today, or be sitting here watching my own little guy running around playing the same game I used to. Funny how life works. Sometimes the road you donโ€™t take is the one that leads you exactly where youโ€™re supposed to be. Maybe heโ€™ll grow up and choose that path, maybe he wonโ€™t. Thatโ€™s entirely up to him. For now, Iโ€™ll just enjoy being the guy who gets to buy him the gear. Some things never change. Happy Halloween! #ProfessionalMalcontent #Married2Multicam #DadLife #halloween2026 #homelife by @married2multicam
Something I will never apologize for is hating the idea of slaving away for the shekel, trading the finite hours of my life for currency while slowly crushing my soul in the process. Do I need to suck it up? Probably. I just canโ€™t seem to come to terms with the idea that this is what life is supposed to be. Somewhere along the way, we were sold a fantasy. Work hard, get an education, buy a house, raise a family, and eventually retire to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Instead, weโ€™re watching the goalposts move while the cost of simply existing keeps climbing. Two-income households are struggling to stay afloat. Retirement feels more like a gamble than a guarantee. And the technology thatโ€™s supposed to make our lives easier seems to make everything more complicated, more distracting, and a little less human. Maybe this is just the reality of being a millennial/Gen X-er who grew up believing in a version of adulthood that doesnโ€™t seem to exist anymore. Iโ€™m blessed in many ways. I know plenty of people have it harder than I do, and Iโ€™m not blind to that. But acknowledging my blessings doesnโ€™t mean I have to pretend Iโ€™m satisfied with the arrangement. Iโ€™m grateful for my life. Iโ€™m grateful for my family. Iโ€™m grateful for the things Iโ€™ve been able to build. But I refuse to confuse gratitude with complacency. Maybe I need to suck it up. Maybe Iโ€™m just not wired to accept that the majority of my waking hours should be spent making someone else richer at the expense of actually living my life. Either way, Iโ€™m not going to apologize for wanting more out of life than working until Iโ€™m too old to enjoy it. End rant. Normal expectations are overrated.โ„ข This is #proffesionalmalcontent by @married2multicam

Spent enough time in groups that eventually faded to appreciate finding one that feels different. Good people. Good instructors. A shared willingness to do things most people consider questionable hobbies. Iโ€™ve said it before, but I think Iโ€™ve found my people.
