Modern, effortless luxury ceremonies.
The style adapts. The standard does not.

Modern ceremonies—done properly.
That’s the standard.

I’m Teddy: Melbourne-based celebrant and the creative behind Married By A Teddy.
I don’t create ceremonies to fill time.
I create them to hold a moment.

Because the ceremony is not the warm-up, it is the moment.
The one your guests lean into.
The one that stays with you.
The one that sets the tone for everything that follows.

My work is considered.
Always written from scratch.
Delivered with presence.
There’s a quiet confidence in knowing exactly how a room should feel—and guiding it there effortlessly.

No templates.
No repetition.
Nothing expected.
Just a ceremony that feels entirely, unmistakably yours.

Based in Melbourne.
Available wherever around the world, the moment calls.

If you’re looking for something elevated, you already know the difference.

Third time really IS the charm ✨

When Dani & Ally won our Dream Ceremony Giveaway, they shared a story of two heartbreakingly unforgettable weddings – one that ended with a punctured lung and an ambulance ride, and another overshadowed by loss and workplace trauma.

This time? We turned the page. We created a day that was fun-filled, love-soaked, and absolutely Professionally Fabulous. 💖 From laughter that echoed through their vows, to a “Master of Moments” reception bursting with energy, this was the ceremony they deserved – a celebration for the wall, the heart, and the memory bank.

Because at Married By A Teddy, we believe your ceremony should feel like YOU – vibrant, joyful, and unforgettable.

Did you know that there are many different styles of celebrants available? Some are formal, some are traditional, and some adhere strictly to the book.

My style? Modern. Inclusive. Non-traditional. Professionally Fabulous.

I have extensive experience in public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences worldwide. I’ve learned how to use different levers to lift the room with humour, draw it back to intimacy and stillness, and guide everyone through those big emotional beats. It’s a rhythm, a balance, and honestly, an art form.

But here’s the thing that really sets me apart 👇
Even though I’m the one with the mic in hand, it’s never about me. My role as a charismatic celebrant is to create a space that reflects you! Your story, your energy, your love. That’s where the magic happens.

Because at the end of the day, this isn’t my spotlight—it’s yours!

I wouldn't consider myself an emotional person, but there's something about a wedding that catches my breath.

Peter & John had the sweetest little micro wedding at Heidi Museum last week 💚

After some portraits around the grounds they had a lunchtime ceremony with their close friends & fam into arvo drinks including a group painting sesh.

This one is more proof that small weddings can be just as meaningful 🍃

Marriage isn't a decision. It's a moment to pause, and stand in front of your loved ones to make a commitment, with intention.

The Hotel Windsor doesn’t need an introduction — but if you’re planning a Melbourne wedding, here’s why it keeps coming up.

Four spaces to choose from: go big in the Grand Ballroom, keep it close and intimate in the Canberra or Winston Room, or a modern, contemporary approach in the Bourke Room. Either way, the room matches the day instead of dictating it.

Then there’s the address. Directly opposite Parliament House, with the Parliament and Treasury steps a short walk away — some of Melbourne’s best wedding photos happen without ever leaving the block. Around the corner is the iconic Hozier Lane.

Onsite accommodation, over a century of hospitality experience, and a preferred vendor list of people who actually know the building. That’s the combination that keeps The Windsor at the top of Melbourne’s wedding venue list.

Historic. Elegant. Unmistakably Melbourne.
