Today would’ve been Marshall’s 12th birthday. A few months ago I wrote a song from his perspective, nothing fancy. But the first line that came to mind was “Now my time has come to leave this earth, but I need to make sure you’re okay first” and that could be for anyone.

So happy birthday @marshallgibsonleech Miss you everyday.

Marshall Gibson. The best dog there ever was. At the end of April we found out that Marshall had cancer that was inoperable. So he fought as long as he could, and we made him as comfortable, and happy as he could be. But unfortunately a week ago today (May 11th) he couldn’t fight anymore, and he crossed the rainbow bridge.

I adopted Marshall when he was 3 years old back in 2016 (the Marshall amp picture is the earliest pic I have of him) funny thing was, I actually planned on adopting another dog that day. But as we walked in, that dog was walking out. We decided to go and look at other dogs, and as I passed by him he started to cry. He had a cone on his head, and even tossed a toy in the air a few times to show off. We were best buds ever since.

It hasn’t been the easiest with him not being around every day, but at least he’s not in any pain, or suffering.

Give your dogs an extra hug for me tonight.

Marshall, I love you. We all love you. And we’re going to miss you.

Went to a new barber the other day, I don’t recommend them at all. They shaved my belly and arm. Didn’t even give me the fade I asked for! -100/10 by @marshallgibsonleech
