This summer contained multitudes 💛💛 From performing alongside some of my favorite people and best mentors at the @atxtheatre Austin Theatre Critics Awards, to returning for my third year at @impactartsatx Summer Stock Austin, to fulfilling a childhood dream and appearing for the first time on the Zilker Hillside as part of @zilkertheatreproductions Singin In The Rain, this summer has meant the world to me. Thank you to everyone who has carried love in their hearts this summer, and to everyone who has made Austin the perfect place for me to come home to 🫶🫶 📸: @henryhueyphoto by @marshalltclifton

With summer starting, it’s a perfect time to look back at my spring in Messina. This show has meant the world to me, and it was such an honor to be a part of a process rich with such beautiful work, such kind creatives, and such a loving company. This show was so incredibly difficult to say goodbye to, but I am so beyond thankful to have carried this world, and all the love it is full of, with me. This year for me has been about learning to fall in love with the artist I am and the art I make. It took me a while to fall in love with this performance, but I think I’m finally ready to share it. Oh Summer Stock 2024, whatever can I say about you? This summer was one of the most challenging and rewarding theatric experiences of my life. My heart belongs to each of these shows forever. Guys and Dolls is the hardest show I have ever done. This show pushed me harder than I’ve ever been pushed before, and made me so much better for it. I learned how to stretch and not break under pressure, and all of that is thanks to the wonderful @gregoryalmanza @gingeremorris and @noah.a.wood . having a directorial team so dedicating to building not just a show but a community and world made this experience so wonderful and educational. Tinhorns, you have my heart. Oh, Little Mermaid, if only you could know how much you mean to me. @the_matt_attack___ and @mariel_ardila , you have taught me so much in so little time. Your trust in me is invaluable, and I feel so honored to have been able to work with you both on such a magical show. This cast, crew, and team truly felt like a family, and I will love you all endlessly. As I head to college, I couldn’t imagine a better season to spread my wings and fly away with. I wish I could put into words how much you all mean to me, but sometimes, words aren’t enough. Sometimes, dancing can say much more than words ever could.
