와...(sigh) 수업이 끝나서..🤭🇰🇷
It has really come to an end...
All memories, fun and laughter will never be forgotten.. Our teacher has been a blessing in our lives. We will never forget you. 너무 사랑해요 @soonjin.park 선생님 💞 by @maryjanee.ac

Okay where do I start from.. First, an intro.

Hello my name is Mary Jane and I'm just girl..lol💫❤️
Well, let's get into it..

Growing up, I've always wondered how it felt to love something passionately.. Of courseee, it's something other than FOOD😭

Here's the bitter truth..

Actually, I disliked Korean drama..I mean, I was just a kid who only wanted to watch Tom & Jerry cartoons.. but guess what, I had an elder sister that was in control of the remote.. Therefore as the last child, I had no say.. So basically, this was what changed my life..I had no choice but to watch whatever kdrama she chooses to watch.. I got so mad whenever I tried reading a subtle and before I finish a line, it's gone😭 So I took it as a challenge, and this helped my English reading (in the academic aspects) and spellings..

Now, Let's talk about Korean Culture..

Ever since then, I've always loved Korean culture and values.. mean, while I was a kid.. watching k culture at first baffled me on how they give respect too ! Imagine bowing slightly while greeting someone.. it shows a deep sign of respect.. If there's anything I'd love to pick on is the respectful behaviors.. Now I'm happily investing my time on Korean culture.. I even wrote a book that gain visibility in Nigeria, France, United States, South Africa and other African Countries.. ❤️
Now this is Me Bridging Cultures and visibility in my own way. 🇰🇷❤️ 가자 !

Ps;I found myself so happy, and I love it 💫❤️

One thing I have priotise and learnt from attending church, taking foundation classes, and serving God intentionally these few months is deceleration.
Now I know how decelerations matter a lot. I am aware of what I have and carry inside, and I believe that when I speak by the Holy Spirit, it all aligns (according to God's will. Ps:I am not a spiritual assasin😭😂)✨️✨️

So today, I became a little Korean chef! 😂🇰🇷👩🏾‍🍳

I learnt how to cook Kkongchi Kimchi Jjigae, and let me tell you… the taste surprised me! 😭

It tasted so much like Nigerian stew even though we didn’t add a single Nigerian ingredient. 😂 How is that possible?!

Different ingredients, different culture, but somehow… the flavour said “I know you.” 😭😂❤️

Another day, another Korean experience! 🇰🇷✨

Hello 👋🏽
Hi, I’m MaryJane ✨
A young Nigerian girl figuring life out, one experience at a time.

One thing about me 🤍
I genuinely love volunteering.
Being able to serve, connect with people, and make even a small difference means a lot to me.

My faith ⛪ ?
I attend Davidic Generation Church.
My faith is an important part of who I am and the person I’m becoming.

안녕하세요 🇰🇷
I’m also learning Korean! 🇰🇷
From Hangul to grammar, new vocabulary and Korean culture—I’m enjoying the journey.

Putting myself out there 🌱
I’m learning to become more confident with public speaking, meeting new people and stepping outside my comfort zone.

Exposure ✨
I want to experience more, learn from different people, attend more events, volunteer, speak, connect and simply put myself out there.

So, that’s me 💕
MaryJane.
A volunteer. A Korean language learner. A woman of faith.
A girl learning to speak up, show up and grow.

And this is only the beginning. 🌱✨

As an active volunteer, every outreach teaches me something new. 💚

Today, through the No Hunger Initiative, I learned that meaningful change can begin with something as simple as planting a garden, sharing food, and showing people that their wellbeing matters.

Seeing the community benefit from the vegetables grown in their garden and witnessing the gratitude of the women who received food today reminded me that service is not only about giving; it is about empowering, caring, and creating hope.

I’m grateful to be part of initiatives that make a difference, one community at a time. 🌱🤍
