National Daughters Day?? Yes, please! God has blessed me beyond measure! ❤️ by @maryjbev

Nine years ago tomorrow, my first husband, Keith made a decision that changed our world forever. He had battled his depression for so long, it had taken over every aspect of his life. On September 2 of 2017, he lost his battle.

For years… September 2 was the hardest day of the year for me…Worse than Christmas, his birthday, any other day… The anniversary of his death made me physically sick from morning until evening every September 2.
Through years of healing and grieving, God has blessed me… In His perfect timing, with new life. A husband who loves me more than I thought possible, Ella thriving and doing so well in everything she conquers… God has shown His goodness to us in ways that we didn’t think we’d ever see.
During the past few years… I’ve noticed that today sticks a pin in my heart more so than tomorrow… September 2. I tend to think of “the day before“ now… September 1.
I did not see or hear from Keith the day before.
No one did.
The day before was the day that he made that final decision. Then shortly after midnight, on September 2, nothing would ever be the same—for any of us. He was gone.

I bring this up because today could be “the day before“ for anyone out there who might be reading this. It could be the day that you struggle through… Knowing that you can’t make it through one more day after today.
Please don’t ever let any day of your life be “the day before“ you lose your battle.
Instead, please let every day be the first day of wonderful things to happen… I don’t care how old and cliché the saying sounds… Today truly is the first day of the rest of your life… Please don’t ever let it be the last day of anything.
If you ever need anyone to talk to… There are so many resources.
Just reach out… People love you. Probably more people than you’ll ever know. by @maryjbev

When your girl is as beautiful as mine, and she’s all about those perfect instagram pics… you end up with a ton of amazing pics of her and one pic of yourself with a giant bowling pin. 🤣

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my better half! You make life so much sweeter, and a whole lot more fun. 🤗
You put up with sooo much, just by loving me. You support all my crazy ideas and do everything you can to make it all come true. 💕
Not once have you ever asked me where that extra cat came from. 😆
Here’s to another year of adventures, laughter, and refusing to act our age.
I love you! 😘 by @maryjbev

I love this place! Hadn’t been since Ella was little bitty, and wanted to start out my birthday week with a visit full of slobber, nibbles & questionable smells. 😆 And I got bit by a zebra! by @maryjbev

Two years ago today, in Niagara Falls, we walked on to the Maid of the Mist with Ella, a minister, and a photographer…and had the most fun, amazing, and WET wedding imaginable. Happy Anniversary to my David. I love you now more than ever. ❤️ by @maryjbev
