You may not need a new beginning. You may need the courage to stop making the old pattern look meaningful. In this teaching, Master Kōan speaks to the habit of adding plans, symbols, and fresh language around what still has not changed. A clear reflection for anyone stuck in self-improvement that avoids the real issue. Sometimes the way forward is not more decoration. It is one honest step on the road already beneath you.
