Long time no portrait!! It’s really been forever and I didn’t know if I still had it tbh but I think this one turned out way better than I expected. Definitely not perfect and I couldn’t even get to the details in the dress with my art supplies, but I had sm fun

Wildhorse 10s - Debut

I want to design more graphics! It’s just a really fun way to make something cool and elevate something seemingly ordinary like these shoes. I got them as I’ve introduced trail running into my training and ig I was just excited about them so I took some photos, but that spiraled into these designs! Definitely will be making more things like this now🏃🏻🏃🏻

Korea love letter 5/5 - Storefronts

I miss you Korean 7-eleven🥲 I was so drawn to storefronts as a subject because there were just so many and each had its own identity which subsequently defined the identity of the areas they lived in

Korea love letter 4/5 - Food

The one thing I miss most🥲 Food was absolutely the creative highlight of Korea. Every baked good looked like you needed at least an art minor to make and I genuinely ate some of the best food I’ve ever eaten on this trip

Korea love letter 3/5 - People

The most dynamic and unexpected part of my trip was definitely the people. It was the first time in my life I had been largely surrounded by a language that I didn’t understand and that alone made it such a unique experience. I didn’t see a single poorly dressed person and everyone was so in their own world that it made shooting these shots a pretty lovely experience

Korea love letter 2/5 - Architecture

Korea’s architecture was a crazy blend of traditional stone walls, futuristic design projects, and snaking escalator systems. Though I didn’t get to see the whole building my favorite stop was definitely the Amorepacific HQ because of how crazy the inside and outside was, as well as the trek I ended up taking through a separate building to get a shot of it. Others shown here include the Audeum museum, hanbok villages, DDP, and the Banpo rainbow fountain bridge!! 10/10 architecture overall Korea👏🏼 by @matchamakes_

Korea love letter 1/5 - Aesthetics

After spending 10 days in Korea on a solo trip, I absolutely fell in love with the place but also photography as an art. So this is a collection of some of my best shots from the trip, spread across 5 different categories of appreciation: architecture, people focused, food, storefronts, and generic aesthetics.

Every turn in Korea felt like a Pinterest board waiting to happen. From the 7 Eleven shelves to the foliage to the alleyways to the cafes, everything seemed like it had beauty in mind when initially thought of. This is a set of focused shots appreciating that beauty that I’ll be thinking about until I go back💕 by @matchamakes_
