I’m not starting over…

I’m starting intentionally.

I'm Temitope, a Public Administration student with a growing interest in Financial Analysis.

I’m restructuring this page to reflect my journey , learning, improving, and building myself daily.

Here, I’ll be sharing:
📊 Study tips
💡 Financial analysis insights
🌱 Personal growth
🎯 My journey towards ICAN

If you’re focused on growth and becoming better, you’re in the right place 🤝

Let’s grow together.

Your degree is not your destiny. 🎓
What you studied is where you started, not where you have to stay. Know what you want, find the overlap, fill the gap, build proof, and talk to people already there.
Save this for someone who needs it. 💛

Your future self is watching what you do today. 🤍 Which of these 5 are you starting this week? Save this and send it to someone who needs the reminder.

I used to think the stress would eventually reduce.

Then I finished ICAN and realised… what’s next? 😂

Funny how we sometimes think, “Once I get through this, things will become easier.”

But maybe the pressure doesn't really reduce.
Maybe we just outgrow the season.

What felt like 100% last year may feel like 50% today, simply because you've grown.

And then the next level comes with its own demands, waiting for you to grow into it too.

I took a week off after my exams. I needed the rest.

But after that, I had to ask myself, “Okay, what's next?”

Because the end of one season doesn't mean there should be a vacuum. Sometimes, it means it's time to place your hands on something new.

So, I'm still building

In my academics.
In my career.
In my finances.
In myself.

Maybe that's what growth really is ,not waiting for life to become less demanding, but becoming more capable of carrying what comes next.

Okay… I’m disappearing for a little while. 😂

Before you start wondering, “Wait, why has this girl stopped posting?” 😂

Let me explain.
I’ve spent the past few months trying to show up more consistently, share my thoughts, learn in public, and connect with you here.

But September is different.
I have a professional exam to face, and honestly, I need to concentrate. 📚😭

So, I’ll be taking a break from posting throughout September. Not because I’m leaving social media, but because I need to temporarily shift my attention to something that requires my full focus.

And to everyone who has been liking my posts, commenting, encouraging me, or even silently following along…

Thank you. I see you. ❤️
For now, it’s books, revision and focus mode. 😂

But when I’m back?
We’re coming stronger. 😌✨
I have so much I want to work on after this exam, personal growth, self-development, career, finance, and just becoming a better version of myself.

So, consider this your little heads-up. 😂
September: Study mode.
After September: We move. 🚀
See you soon. 🤍

When will this stretching period end?

Have you ever been in a phase of your life where you suddenly realise, “Wow, I’ve actually done more than I thought I could?”

And just when you think you've reached your limit, another version of you shows up.
Another capacity. Another strength. Another side of you that you didn't even know existed.
Sometimes, I wonder, when does the stretching end?

But maybe it doesn't.
I think of it like a river.
A river keeps flowing. It doesn't stop at one point and say, “This is all I have to give.”
It keeps moving, keeps flowing, keeps finding its way.

Maybe that's how we are too.
We keep growing. We keep discovering. We keep bringing out dimensions of ourselves we never knew were there.

And if you're in that season right now, it's okay.
You don't have to figure everything out at once.
Take a breath. Don't overwhelm yourself. Allow yourself to grow gradually. And embrace the person you're becoming.

You might be surprised at where this flow takes you.
Keep flowing. There's more of you to discover. 🤍

No one is an island of knowledge.

Sometimes, we think age automatically means more knowledge, but age and knowledge are two different things.

There is something to learn from everyone , the older, the younger, the experienced, and even the person you least expected.

Sometimes, someone’s ideas can teach you. Sometimes, their actions can simply inspire you to do more.

Being teachable doesn't mean accepting everything you're told. It means being open to learning, while also being wise enough to know what works for you and what doesn't.

We don't stop learning because we grow older.
Never become too experienced to learn.

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”_ Mahatma Gandhi

Three certificates. Three experiences. And honestly, one big lesson: I can do more than I thought I could.

If you've been following this week's posts, you've probably noticed that I've been sharing some of the certificates I've received recently.
Monday was about being an Academic Tutor.
Wednesday was about the Fresher Orientation Committee.
Today, it's Beyond the Bookshelf 2026.
And this one was special.

Beyond the Bookshelf was a programme organised through the Office of the Vice President of NAPAS, and it wasn't just about academics.
It was about visibility, career, finding your path,And learning to step beyond what you've always known.

I served as a Co-Moderator and Protocol team member.

I co-moderated, read the speaker's citation, handled the Q&A, and helped maintain order during the online programme.

And honestly, it stretched me.
I'm naturally a conservative person, so putting myself out there, speaking, handling a live Q&A and having to think on my feet wasn't exactly my comfort zone. 😂

But that's the thing about this season for me.
I'm learning to do things my normal self would probably avoid.
I'm learning to ask:
“If someone else can do it, why can't I try?”
And looking at these three certificates now, I realise they aren't just certificates.
They are little reminders of how much I've been stretching myself, teaching, serving, working with people, speaking, leading and showing up

So if you're somewhere in the corner thinking, “I can't do this,”
I'm talking to you too.
Maybe you don't need to have everything figured out.
Maybe you just need to take one step outside yourself.
Apply, volunteer,speak, Try,Be seen

This isn't me saying I've figured everything out.
Far from it.
I'm still learning. I'm still becoming.
But one thing I know now:
There is so much more in us when we are willing to step beyond ourselves.

And to everyone and room that gave the opportunity,I really appreciate it

Cheers to more growth. 🥂
Cheers to becoming. 🤍
And cheers to seeing ourselves at the top.

From being the confused fresher to helping confused freshers. 😂

Last time, I shared my Academic Tutor certificate and talked about how teaching stretched me.
Today, we're continuing the certificate series with another one , my Fresher Orientation Committee certificate from NAPAS.

Joining this committee actually came when I really wanted to rest.
I had just finished my professional exam, went home thinking I would relax for a few days, and then... I had to come back because the freshers needed attending to. 😂

But honestly, I'm glad I did.
Because while attending to these students, I kept remembering myself as a fresher.

I resumed late.
I was confused.
I didn't always know what I was supposed to do.
And registration? Let's not even talk about it. 😂

So when I saw freshers looking confused, frustrated, or even crying because they had made mistakes with their documents, I understood them.

I didn't want to make them feel worse.
Sometimes, all I did was say:
“It's okay. You made a mistake. Let's see how we can fix it.”

And I realised that sometimes, people don't need you to remind them that they messed up.
They just need someone to help them figure out the next step.

I also got to work with other committee members, and that taught me a lot about teamwork.
Everyone had their part to play, and somehow, we had to make everything work together.

So yes, another certificate...
But this one came with lessons about empathy, patience, and teamwork.

And the funniest part?
I was once the fresher who needed help.
Now, I was the one helping someone else. 🥹🤍

Two certificates down. One more story to share.

I never thought I would be teaching my fellow students. 😂

But here we are.

I recently received a certificate of recognition as an Academic Tutor for the National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPAS).

And honestly, this experience stretched me.
Teaching people who are my age, older than me, or younger than me came with its own kind of anxiety.

Then came the online classes. 😂
Sometimes I would ask, “Do you understand?” and get very few responses.

But I couldn't blame them.
I've been that student too. Sometimes you're tired. Sometimes you're listening but don't feel like typing. Sometimes you just need the person teaching you to explain it differently.

So I learned to read the room, communicate better, and meet people where they were.

And somewhere along the way, I realised that I was learning too.
This experience reminded me that sometimes, growth looks like doing the thing you were initially scared of.
A little stretching,A little discomfort,A lot of learning

And I'm genuinely grateful I said yes.
This is just one of the certificates I received recently, and honestly, each one came with its own story.

One thing I've always wondered...

Back in secondary school, when I learned that inflation is "too much money chasing too few goods," I kept asking myself:

If a country needs money, why can't it just print more?

It sounded like the easiest solution.

Now, as I continue learning about finance and accounting, I'm beginning to understand that printing money isn't the real issue. The economy has to be able to support it. Otherwise, prices rise, the value of money falls, and everyone feels the impact.

Moments like this remind me why I love learning.

Every question leads to another lesson.
Still learning. Still growing. Still curious
