Meet Mathis, a 9-year-old baseball player from Jupiter, Florida, with his sights set on playing for Clemson and becoming a professional baseball player! 🐅⚾️

His favorite athlete? Bobby Witt Jr.! 🔥 From the mound to the batter’s box, Mathis is building his own baseball story—one rep, one swing, and one opportunity at a time.

💬 His favorite motivational quote:
“Push through the pain. Giving up hurts more.”
— Vegeta, Dragon Ball Z

10 straight grounders. ZERO errors. 😤⚾️

Dad made the deal… mess up and somebody’s running 2 laps 😂 Who’s taking the L? 👀

Pressure’s on. Let’s see if I can stack 10 clean reps in a row! 🔥#youthbaseball #baseballtraining #youthtraining #baseballlife #baseball by @mathis.ramos

🚫 Stop telling hitters to “squish the bug.”

That cue can teach kids to spin in place instead of using the ground to drive energy toward the ball.

Try this instead: drive the back shoelaces toward the pitcher. 👟⚾️

Push off the back side. Drive the back knee forward. Let the hips rotate instead of just spinning.

Small cue. Big difference.

Squish the bug or drive the back knee? 👇#youthbaseball #baseballtraining #baseballdrills #youthtraining #hitting by @mathis.ramos
